Possible Overmedication Woes
I saw him on Friday and he heard a
heart
murmur
and has referred me to cardiology. However I have read thyrotoxicosis can cause temporary heart murmurs. I have known leaky valves due to having EDS so I think he's just being cautious.

AF in 30's - anxiety and worry!
I had an illness when I was a child that left me with an innocent
heart
murmur
- and then Afib struck for first time ever age 32 at 39 weeks pregnant with my second and last baby. Giving birth in that state was horrendous, and it started my journey with health anxiety.

These findings were reassuring and explained the faint systolic
heart
murmur
heard but did not confirm significant malformations, as such. It remains still possible that the mild changes described, however, might contribute to the atypical chest complaints and the ectopic atrial rhythm.

I have a
heart
murmur
and have to take a nuclear stress test. I also have to have an abdominal MRI using Dotarem dye, which is considered safe for an MRI. I mainly worry that, after all this, I will be considered as too risky for the surgery.

High blood pressure after triple heart bypass
My husband had a triple heart bypass 10 weeks ago and his blood pressure today reads 150/75. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. The doctor has increased his Ramipril but this is a concern because it can affect the kidneys. Thank you.

Palpitations when poorly
I'm on bisoprolol 1.25 once a day for skipped beats. I have had two heart surgeries one fallot tetralogy one for pulmonary valve replacement. Does anyone experience more skipped beats or flutters when they have a cold etc?

Post ablation holter monitor results
Hi everyone, just had a letter following a 24 hour holter monitor I had on the 10th of August, this was 4 months post PVI ablation. I would be grateful for anyone's opinion as I am a bit of a worrier and the tachycardia bit bothered me. How can your heart go fast for 3 seconds and be recorded. Here is

amiadrone
For those of you with hypothyroidism and heart disease, have any of you been advised to or taken amiadrone and warfarin prior to cardioversion to increase likelihood of staying in sinus rhythm? There are so many contraindications for me personally due to other meds and comorbidities.

... And the beat goes on
12 months ago today I woke up in unfamiliar surroundings, a hospital bed. The day had arrived, I was having bypass surgery. In all honesty I can't say I was nervous the only thought in my mind was the ultrasound I was having on my legs, the surgeon was concerned about the viability of my legs veins,

5 months post heart surgery and I’ve committed to doing the 50 miles during October for the BHF. Is anyone else planning to do this? This photo was taken 2 months after surgery and with our new granddaughter who was born when I was in ICU recovering after the op. Having made a full recovery, I appreciate
