Aortic Stenosis I’m so confused!
I was found to have a
heart
murmur
by accident in 2012. I was put under cardiology where they told me I had a bicuspid valve and was seen every 3 years initially. Iwas later signed off because they said it wasn’t progressing but to go back if I noticed anything different.

EKG results
The technician said he was not at liberty to let me know results but I know that's not the case as my sister had one recently (suspected
heart
murmur
) and was told everything was fine.

hi , I was diagnosed with a systolic
heart
murmur
at the end of July, in A&E and had an echo 5 weeks later. I haven’t heard any results and it’s about 6 weeks ago. I’m assuming everything is fine and there is no need to contact me about it?

Leaky Aortic Valve
Before Christmas I was told I had a
heart
murmur
. Following an ECG my GP said it showed left ventricular hypertrophy. She sent me for an echocardiogram which the technologist said didn’t show LVH but a leaky aortic valve.

Well, here I am
It turns out the
heart
murmur
mentioned in a routine medical in my twenties wasn’t quite so innocent. I had a day of feeling tired, then persistent palpitations that were stopping me sleeping.

New, A Bit Scared, Would Appreciate Advice.
I saw my GP yesterday who listened to my
heart
, diagnosed grade one and two
heart
murmur
, is going to refer me to Cardiology. He suggested trying a GTN spray.

Is Isosorbate Mononitrate 60mg necessary?
I was asking her if this was to do with the
heart
murmur
she'd identified (now diagnosed as a mild aortic regurgitation). GP said no this was angina and needed urgently checking out.

Learn CPR and Defibrillator training
More people need CPR training. Not enough people do. I am an ex Nurse and Firefighter and seen first hand the benefits of learning CPR ect. I now have my First Aid Instructor qualification and teach Basic Life Support-CPR-Defibrillator training. My own training has helped me in 2 different situations

Back to work
So with great excitement, a little trepidation and many scar hiding new tops, I’m returning to work today following my open heart surgery. Just mornings initially but was discharged by the cardiac specialist hospital on Monday back to my local hospital. I know that full recovery will be many more months

Can anyone reassure please ? I have been taking Bisoprolol for about 7 years now, and am on the high dose of 5 mgs twice daily now. This keeps my heart rate around 60 when I am sitting. Sometimes, if I am being lazy, the rate can be as low as 55, but perks up once I start doing things. However, this

Persistent afib treatment options, can't tolerate Amiodarone - so many questions...
I'm feeling rather lost at sea, I have so many unknows and questions so I'm sorry if this is a bit messy. Think I'm looking for your experiences and help with what I should ask the cardiologist about/for. BTW we live in the England so NHS. In short... Persistent new onset afib (always bradycardia) since

Anticoagulant changes
I wonder if any of you can advise me please on anticoagulants. I have been on Apixaban for some years and recently when I have had my repeat prescription from the pharmacy the manufacturer of Apixaban has changed four times. With the last one I experienced light headedness and with all of them tiredness
