Anxious about the next transfer - trigger warning MC
We got to viability scan only to find a sac but no embryo which marked the start of a week from hell where I went to and from the hospital for bloods and scans every other day before they would let me stop my meds and let my body do it's thing (my blood

initially wasn't dropping as it should).

Feel like a bit of a Fraud
I had an AF episode in mid January which lasted 5 hours but by the time I got to hospital everything was normal. Stayed overnight on a heart monitor - nothing, so discharged and told I would he sent a Kardiamobile app but shoukd continue living as normal. NHS then cancelled Kardiamobile and gave me

New to afib
Just been prescribed Bisoprolol for afib. my recent ecg indicated this along with 110bpm, but my heart rate is usually around 55-60 at rest. I put this down to nerves whilst in hospital. I have now had 3 days on the beta blocker and it has slowed my heart rate to low 40`s, but eratic heart beat persists

An update
Hello all, I hope you are all well. I haven't posted for a while, but I have had a few more tests, and I wanted to give all an update. I was booked for an exercise stress test, which was abandoned due to a very fast heart rate before starting. It was really strange because when they hooked me up

About me
Hi all. Just introducing myself as a new member. On 1st April this year, I started feeling like I was getting heart burn or indigestion. Didn't think much of it. Popped to the shop for a couple of things for my wife, who had pulled her back. When I got back, it felt much worse. I took her things upstairs

Should I be concerned about lower resting HR on bisoprolol?
I had my first recorded (though probably 3rd in 3 years) AF incident on Sunday and have got 1.25mg of bisoprolol and 5 mg x 2 pd of apixaban. I am a runner so my resting overnight HR is usually low, say mid 40s. My heart returned to its normal rhythm on Sunday night after about 19 hours in AF. So now

How to talk so my consultant will listen - advice please š
Since my diagnosis, Iāve had ongoing cardiac symptoms but they seem to have grown in frequency since mid January. I have had a couple of reviews with my GP and the decision was taken to stop my dapagliflozin - fine. Additionally, my presyncope symptoms have been getting worse and itās now been recommended

Whenever I feel that life is tough, I remember a quote by someone anonymous, "Ups and downs in life makes it going. Even a straight line on an ECG means you are dead!" Fair enough. But being a Doctor I know that too many fluctuations in an ECG too, are life threatening. I've been quite vocal about

exercise anxiety
I used to be a kean, regular runner and back in July 2020 I went running in extreme heat and didnāt feel as energised as normal and felt very lethargic and my heart rate showed readings of up to 208bpm and quite erratic. Again I just put this down to exhaustion. Anyway cutting a long story short, I felt

Over the top life stress causing symptoms after heart blockage
Iāve been suspecting that I may have a couple different things, including Takotsubo cardiomyopathy,Ā because of my continued chest pain & heart symptoms (one month post a 70% ventricular block and stent) and because of the extremely stressful things Iāve been dealing with. What treatments have you been
