PPMS...
Standard FDA-approved medications for MS (for example interferons,
glatiramer
acetate, fingolimod) have not been proven useful in slowing the progression of PPMS. Ocrelizumab is the first FDA-approved medicine for primary progressive MS. It appears to slow the progression of disability.

B12 self injections???
I had done the Copaxone/
Glatiramer
acetate injections for a short time but they were self contained. I had no instruction other than YouTube. Any advice? Assuming I'll be squeezing belly fat to do it....thoughts, direction, advice? Any videos you can recommend?

Love-handles as injection site?
I started taking
glatiramer
acetate (3 times a week) 2 months ago, and I'm eager to rotate my injection sites to avoid permanent damage. The booklet I was given with my injector shows the front of the thighs, the belly area, the back of the arms, and the upper sides of the butt.

Pinch With Injection?
I'm new to the site, and also fairly new to taking
glatiramer
acetate (which I've been doing for a little over 2 months), and I've got a question about how best to inject it.

Starting meds this week
So this week I am starting on Mylan’s
Glatiramer
Acetate Injection 40 mg/mL, which is generic for copaxone. Is anyone else taking this? What was it like in the beginning and how are you tolerating it? This is my first treatment as I was only diagnosed March of this year.

Mylan Glatiramer Acetate
I’m starting Mylan’s
Glatiramer
Acetate 3x a week shots and want to know if they have an autoject pen for the syringes? I just got the Rx and I was given the Glatopa pen by accident. Glatopa and
Glatiramer
Acetate are from two different manufacturers.

The Impact of Generics on MS Treatment
There are currently multiple generic versions of the
Glatiramer
Acetate injection available, and insurers have made many patients switch off Copaxone on onto generics.

New MS biomarker
Serum NfL levels were higher for patients starting natalizumab and rituximab compared with those starting interferon,
glatiramer
acetate, and fingolimod. The levels decreased over time with all of these treatments.
