prednisone, methotrexate, forteo
(That is where I keep getting stuck) Just went thru terrible 5 month ordeal with new
fractures
in spine. I finally decided to face my fear and go on the bone med Forteo. I have a total of 8
fractures
. I was very surprised as my dexa scan had improved considerably.

Happy New Year and Thankyou
Happy New Year to everyone.! Special thanks to those who’ve given me personal advice and encouragement or just a chat! Have been trying to keep away from hospitals, but haven’t much choice anyway as I’m told I’m on the waiting list in three departments., three conditions. Somewhat worrying after being

Actemra
Actemra shots, specifically the Epi-Pen....still having problems injecting...have to push hard until I feel needle pierce skin....this morning I felt medicine drip down my leg, but some went in because I had blood and a pin hole in my leg. Don't know if i should do another or just wait until next week

Adventures in decreasing prednisone
Osteoporosis with
fractures
, newly found diabetes, high cholesterol (new), , cataract (new) Blood vessels that break very easily, and new kidney issues. All in all this disease and treatment has done a number on me. My question is, I have been above the 7-7&1/2 mg for 8 days.

Knee Fractures
I have recently been diagnosed with fragility
fractures
in my knees. My Denosumab injections were stopped in January. It may be a coincidence but has this happened to anyone else??

As with fellow PMR sufferers shoulder pain has been a common factor I started shoulder repair about 20 years ago with steroid injections and rotator cuff repairs. All of which gave temporary relief. In 2015 a surgeon put me forward for shoulder replacement but as pain was not the major factor I put

Pressure from dr to go on meds. DEXA worse every time. Severe osteoporosis on every measure. Drug side effects or risk of fractures? Arrgh!
However I am mostly concerned about spine
fractures
and hip
fractures
. God forbid! I went 9 years without a DEXA scan because I thought why bother? I won’t treat anyway.

My story of my 23 year battle with Pca.
I had 2 compression
fractures
among other things. He told me if we didn’t intervene I was looking at catastrophic spinal events in the future. By this time I had been on and off crutches for several months and severe pain during that time.

Trelstar Mixject
I received an insurance denial today for Trelstar Mixject. I was to have an Eligard shot in early December, but Dr office called the day before to reschedule for January 3rd. I was never told that they wanted to take me off Eligard, and why would they change if it is working? Mainly, I have never

Xtandi can fuel spread of bone tumours in advanced prostate cancer?
I've been taking Xtandi for two months now and my PSA has continued to go down, however, I'm definitely getting more pain from a tumour on my back below my shoulder blade. It's gone from being just uncomfortable to now needing to take some painkillers before I go to bed otherwise it's too painful to

Is it too late for Triplet Therapy? (4 months on Elligard already.).
Switching to Dr. Dorff from old MO. First appointment on 12/28. Hoping to get Triplet Therapy that old MO basically said no to. That MO also dragged out any treatment beyond initial Elligard injection for two months waiting for a bone biopsy that she ultimately ignored the results of. Anyways, diagnosed
