Haven't taken inhaler since last night
After coming off Sprivia last week coz of urine retention and feeling fine, I fancied going without
fostair
as well (I switched last week from seretide) and have been breathing better today than I have since my flare in January. Did a 50minute 25k cycle without any problems.

I have to stop taking Spiriva but to carry on with
Fostair
and Ventalin. I am now not only totally confused but also a little scared. Has anyone else been given information that seems to be contradictory as well as confusing.

Fed up now
I'm on
fostair
200/6 4 puffs twice a day, I'm taking salbutamol 4 hourly, on loratidine, montelukast and currently on clarithronycin for potential infection. My ige blood levels were supposedly through the roof when i was tested during my last hospital admission.

A Carer's frustration
He doesn't use his nebulizer or Spiriva inhaler either, only
Fostair
and Ventolin. Every day I am practically begging him to let me help him get washed and changed, to use his oxygen and to keep moving regularly but he brushes me off.

Excercise induced asthma??
I just taken my
fostair
inhaler and lungs feel much better but still feel tired and rough. I read this could be excercise induced asthma. Anyone got it and feel that way too? and should I see doctor? or just start using inhaler more when I feel this way?

Update
I've also been switched to
fostair
inhaler. They're now accepting lower peak flows on me and I'm hopefully going home tomorrow. I'm still getting tired and breathless with not much exertion but I'm hoping I will recover quicker at home! Hope everyone is okay! X

I'm currently on antibiotics for chest infection and recently changed to
fostair
inhaler. Not sure if its the asthma causing it or the chest infection.

SLEEP PROBLEMS
He wrote me up for
Fostair
1 puff twice a day in reality a dose more in line with asthma rather than COPD. That was the only medication I received. Having researched COPD I went to my GP and got checked over to start an exercise programme along the same lines as pulmonary rehabilitation.

Recently I had to double up on my normal dose of
fostair
, due to a really bad cold and a chest infection. The doctor gave me some antibiotics and I kept on taking my increased meds for about 4 weeks till my peak flow got back to its normal ready and remained steady.
