Asthma and sinus surgery
The result of this is I am only needing a few puffs of
fostair
now though I suspect that if I went from 200 to 400 I may only need it once a day. I am being referred to Wythenshawe hospital in August as my GP has been unable to find the trigger.

Going downhill again 😔
I currently take
Fostair
100/6, Montelukast 10mg, Loratadine 10mg (I have doubled this to 20mg since coming away which is helping slightly) and Ventolin. I also have Vocal Cord Dysfunction which I only found out about this year so I'm still learning how to control this too.

recently diagnosed
I'm on a blue inhaler and have a pink one
Fostair
, I don't get particularly breathless, have a slight cough now and then and the blue inhaler sorts me out if needed. The numbers from the spiro test had me asthma/copd but not even mild copd.

Hello Everyone
I have also suffered from Astma since around 2000 For the asthma I use a
Fostair
inhaler twice a day, and have the usual Sabutimol for those 'as required' moments...which seem to be getting more frequent...

Put on
fostair
& Doxycycline on Monday , the doxy to finally kick out the last of this chest infection . My chest seems to be having a good clear out so the
fostair
must be better for me instead of the dry powder airflusal . So thanks guys never heard of either till I came on here 😊

First post here! Looking for a bit of advice
I've never been offered any other type of preventer inhaler other than
Fostair
, but from scanning through posts on here it looks like an alternative could help. Can anyone recommend a good preventer that could be used instead of
Fostair
?

Fostair 200/6 or 100/6
I've just been prescribed
Fostair
200/6. Others who have problems with this strength have been put on the 100/6. I've been on Seretide until now. Should I ask my doctor to change to
Fostair
100/6? before I start using it?

Update since last one when sleep was being murdered...
Since I last posted about a month ago, I've been moved to

and I'm loving it. For the first time in 6 months I can breathe.

A keen gardener, diagnosed with aspergillosis
At present I am on
Fostair
, two puffs twice daily plus Ventolin. Neither of these is very effective. I guess it has to be steroids but what a life! Count my blessings? I do that all the time.

Fostair & alcohol?
Hi, was wondering on people's experience in this department? I have been given this by my doctor today & told to take 2 puffs twice a day & trial it. I am in the process of being diagnosed (or not) with asthma & awaiting a spirometry (spelling?) test. My question is can you take alcohol whilst taking

Fostair Help Please
My asthma changed me to
fostair
last week as Qvar wasn't controlling my asthma very well. Only thing is I've had a few side effects, can't stop shaking and my anxiety has gone and raised heart rate. I've been taking it since Wednesday 1 puff twice a day. Will this go away or should I see my GP?
