So fed up
Since then I have been on
Flecainide
50g morning and night and bisopropol 2.5 morning and night. I don’t feel my heart as much but my Apple Watch is showing an average of 68% AF over the last 6 weeks. It’s really getting me down.

worried in France
I take Bisoprolol 1.25 mg twice daily and have
Flecainide
as PIP. I would be grateful for your thoughts as to whether this may revert back to sinus rhythm on its own. Though I have a feeling you will say, go and get this checked out! Many thanks in anticipation.

AF and amiodaran treatment, ablations, cardioversions
Keep taking my
flecainide
and get another cardioversion, although that might be a waste of time according to the consultant. 3. Stop taking
flecainide
and switch to amiodarone, then get another cardioversion. Hopefully, the amiodarone can keep me in regular rhythm and then I can have ablations.

Taking Flecainide 50g twice a day with Apixaban 5mg Twice a day and Soltalol 40mg twice a day
I am scared to take the
Flecainide
without asking some questions first. Can all of these medicines be taken together and are there side-effects. Kind Regards Andrew 😞

what on earth am i supposed to do...cant have anti arrhythmia meds?
The thing is I had the bad reaction to
Flecainide
mainly because it was given me while i had a 75% blocked coronary artery which was bound to trigger an adverse reaction. I now had a stent fitted so blocked artery is sorted.

small dose of flecainide
Has anyone cut 50 mg
flecainide
in half and been on 25 mg twice a day? I have had shortness of breath since being on 50 mg twice a day for 9 months and the doctor told me to try 25 mg instead.

Statins
I have AF but it’s controlled so far with daily
flecainide
and bisoprolol. I get a three monthly blood test for iron overload but this week the doctor advised me to get a cholesterol blood test as well.

Another hospital admission
I now have issues with an irregular heart rhythm, they don't know if it is caused by SVT, for which I take
Flecainide
for, or if it caused by Microvascular disease causing problems with the electrical conduction. I'm going to be referred back to the Electrophysiologist. The diagnosis is still MVA.

Advice please - feeling worried
My EP is now saying I am not a suitable patient for a daily dose of
Flecainide
due to Calcium score and that if the AF becomes too intrusive I could be considered for Dronedarone. He has upped my statin from 5mg to 10mg.

Post ablation follow-up
With regard to the
Flecainide
that I used to take as a PIP, she agreed that I could take it if I started to get AF problems that were concerning me but felt that I should contact them first so that they could check that the problems were indeed AF and not some other arrhythmia as
Flecainide
can exacerbate

Support please 🙏
I am on 100mg
flecainide
twice a day. 5mg Apixaban twice a day and 7.5mg of nebivolol daily. I just can't cope anymore with this lack of sleep, lack of energy, draining, debilitating condition. How long can you be left in atrial flutter?

Maybe returning to normal heart rhythm. But weak pulse?
Could this be the
Flecainide
? Welcome any guidance from this amazing community. You have really gotten me through these tough days. Thank you so much.

Shaking Body & Cold Clammy Hands
Hi all Fortunately my AF episodes are few & far between 🤞, therefore I just take
Flecainide
as PIP when it kicks off, which it did at 1am this morning. I got up to go to the loo & when I got back to bed I couldn’t stop shaking, I was so cold, then the AF started.

Flecainide
Was everyone who has been prescribed
flecainide
monitored when they first started taking it? I've just been discharged from A & E with a prescription for
flecainide
to start taking immediately.

Lexiscan Chemical Stress Test
My EP wants me to have a chemical stress test before he puts me on
Flecainide
. I have so many problems with Afib and PACs that I’m terrified to have them inject me with something that’s going to make my heart take off.
