Tingling in left foot
But day 3 of the
femoston
and I'm having horrendous headaches. Not to mention the worse period I've had for many many year's, I'd only taken it for 1 day and I wasn't due on.

Endo and HRT any advice.
I have been given HRT tablets to take
Femoston
-conti 1mg/5mg tablets. Has anyone taken them? Did you have any reaction/symptoms taking them? I'm worried that by taking HRT my endo might come back. Has anyone gone through menopause and has endo returned? Thanks Sweety.

Not thyroid-related, but would really appreciate some advice on HRT!
Transdermal estrogen is described as safer than oral estrogen, but I cannot figure out if that only applies to synthetic estrogen or to all oral estrogen, including natural estrogen in pills such as
Femoston
and Angeliq...?

Menopause: how to know if your symptoms are thyroid-related or not?
My gynaecologist prescribed
Femoston
2/10 for me, saying that oral hormones are better absorbed by the body than transdermal estrogen (I was on Estrogel until recently).

Synthetic HRT?
My gynaecologist suggested we try
Femoston
2/10 for hot flushes. Has anyone tried this or a similar drug?

HRT questions
My gynaecologist will only prescribe synthetic treatment (
Femoston
). However, I've read that synthetic HRT today is not at all what it used to be, and that today's alternatives are safe and actually close to human chemistry.

HRT or not to HRT that is the question
I went back to my GP who has prescribed a combo HRT (
femoston
-conti), I haven't taken these as I am reluctant as I have heard the side-effects can be awful.

HRT advice needed
There is also a drug called
Femoston
with 28 pills in each box. For the first 14 days of cycle, you take estradiol only, and then estradiol and dydrogesterone for the next 14 days, so continuously.

Does Levothyroxine have any effect on the liver?
And the cocktail of Desmopressin,
Femoston
2 and Levothyroxine had increased the swelling and initiated pain/burning around the knees and pain in the feet. The Levo didn't help my thyroid levels.

New Here and Think I'm Hypo, Have Long List of Bloods - Would Be Grateful for Thoughts
Thought I needed HRT, and started in May 15 on 1/10
Femoston
, but although this helped with insomnia and brain fog (which I just put down to getting older) it didn't do anything else. However as I started to feel like the old me, I was reluctant to stop.

After 5 yrs Cytomel causing headache and nausea
I'm also on HRT
Femoston
1 mg. It's all been very successful, actually saved my life I think as I had terrible symptoms of hypo. I've been taking half a 25mcg tablet of Cynomel at 6.15 am for nearly all that time - I started off increasing the dose to 1 tablet but got hyper.

Endo confusion
This had to be changed to
Femoston
because it brought on bleeding and pain again.
Femoston
done the same too, it's been stopped aswell! Does anyone know if I can take menopausal vitamins to help with flushes, sweating and joint pain? Thank you 😉 X
