paxlovid and cdk4/6 inhibitors
I am on abemaciclib/Verzenio and
faslodex
. My GP talked to an oncology registrar who said I should stop taking Verzenio for 5 days while on Paxlovid as there is a strong interaction between these two meds. My oncogy nurse said to stop it for 5+3 days.

Does Herceptin cause Pulmonary Hypertension
I am now on
Faslodex
and doing well. The hypertension is a big challenge as it is a progressive disease. Have others had pulmonary or heart problems related to Herceptin?

I have previously been on: Ibrance/Letrozole (1 yr),
Faslodex
(2 months), Xeloda (1 year), Taxol (1yr), and Carbo ( 8 weeks). I am grateful that we have so many options and I honestly never "felt" the cancer until now, so it is scary . Appreciate all of you. Allison

Is it worth it?
I'm a 64 year old gay man married for 30+ years. I went to get my testosterone checked and it was slightly low but the doctor said before he prescribed T he wanted to do a PSA test. My PSA was 8, so he told me no sex or biking for 10 days and we retested and it was down to 5 which he said was still

Hi allCasodex (bicalutamide) 57% for driving down PSA Lupron 87% BUT........ maybe for an individual would it be worth trying to see if casodex tablets worked better for driving down PSA instead of the lupron injection????

My PCa history
After rising PSA from 6.92 in March 2012 to 9.98 in April 2013 Uro performed Prostate Biopsy in April 2013. 12 samples were taken: worst sample 4+3 (30% involvement) and four samples 3+4 (5% involvement). Scheduled for robotic prostatectomy, but before it Uro gave me four shots of Fermagon. Uro

Ache all over but stable. What to do?
I am on
Faslodex
shots and Xgeva every third month. I’ve been taking ibuprofen and Tylenol and it really doesn’t help. I didn’t always have this problem. I’m wondering if it’s excessive inflammation?

PSA after one month on lupron
I am 63 with high risk PCa. I was diagnosed with PSA of 30 and Gleason 9 in December. Biopsy and MRI showed all 12 cores malignant with "likelihood of extra-capsular extension". PSMA PET scan showed no mets as of December 15. I began treatment on February 26 with a week of Casodex followed by a Lupron

Platelets Dropping
Is this “normal” or any advice? Undergoing radiation since March, have 22 sessions done, 6 to go. Started Casodex in December to prepare to start Eligard in January. Radiation started in March. My platelets have been dropping. MO said could be due to Lupron and/or radiation. IMRT targets Gleason 9

My husband was diagnosed in Jan. 2022 by his Urologist for Stage 3b Highly Aggressive (label they gave it) prostate cancer, Gleason score of 8, into seminal vessicles, but no mets seen on PET Scan. Received Lupron for 18 months and Casodex 50mg was initiated immediately and continued once a day

Original PSA was around 9 and put on Casodex for month, then Lupron every 3 months, plus Darolutamide. Just completed

Long Journey
Hey Guys, I don’t post on here often and I’m afraid this will be a long post. I have had PCa over 18 years. Started with casodex, Lupron. A few months later, brachytherapy then 42 sessions of EBRT. Over the years PSA would rise, and I would be put on Lupron for 18-24 months. In 2017, PSA started rising
