Here are my blood test results as promised…..
I’d be really grateful if you could take a look at my test results below and let me know what you think please. Since having the left side of my thyroid removed in February 23 because of a suspiciously large nodule, my blood tests had showed lower than optimum levels and so I was started on Levothyroxine

T4/3 combo
I’ve been taking Armour Thyroid for over 20 years. Previously on NHS but we moved house to a different area and new GP wouldn’t even discuss it. Armour Thyroid is now very expensive and not easy to obtain. I’m concerned about the long term importing and prescribing issues. Long scenario but now under

Advice please - Is this potential dose increase a bad idea?
Just wanted to ask for opinions and wisdom regarding my NDT dose. Never had thyroid treatment before, and just got prescribed 50mg NDT as a trial by my doctor. Being super cautious, I decided to start at 1/4 of that dose (12.5mg) per day, then build up by another 1/4 each week until I hit the prescribed

UPDATE How to gradually reduce dosage of desiccated thyroid (armour)?
A couple of weeks ago I posted asking about how would you go about reducing medication for genetic hypothyroidism. I was on 6 grains of Armour Thyroid which concerts roughly to 54mcg of t3 and 228mcg of T4. On this dosage I get in the higher quarter/ third of range for t3 and despite my average heart

Borderline Thyroid test
Hello everyone, Just looking for a bit of advice. Judging from these posts, I am not alone. I've been feeling pretty lousy for as long as I can remember. Irregular periods, hair falling out, cold sensitivity, tingly fingers and debilitating fatigue. The fatigue is the worst. I just want to crawl back

NDT UK
Can anyone advise where I can get NDT in UK? I was taking Thiroid by Nature Pharma which worked well for me, but they stopped making it a few years back. I got as batch of Thyroid-S (4 x 500) which does not agree with me as well but still way better than Levo. My supplies are running low and I am struggling

Cortisol tests
Hi, I just had my cortisol retested to see if there had been any improvement from February 2023. Since August 2023, I have been slowly titrating NDT Armour and taking vitamins, minerals and amino acids prescribed by a private thyroid Dr. My iron & B12 are good, working on increasing vit D. I'm still

Shytomel duo
Hi guys has anyone heard of or used Shytomel NDT? I'm currently on Armour buy it's very expensive and looking fir an alternative. I have previously tried Thyroid S but I'd get bad palpitations on it when I'd need to increase the dose. The best that ever worked was TR Man but unfortunately they stopped

Natural Desiccated Thyroid, NDT, Sources
Hi everyone, I have been on NDT from Thailand for over a decade and I have only just ordered Thyroid-S. The price has gone up and I was a bit worried because I wasn't sure if the supplier would still be available. There used to be so many suppliers and with more competitive prices over there. Now, this

GP appointment update
I posted a few days ago and sadly had no replies! But anyway I had my GP appointment this morning. Explained everything that's been going on, showed her my test results, and her answer to that was i will probably develop an OVERactive thyroid eventually 🤦🏻♀️ How she came to that conclusion I do

Ndt and iodine supplement?
Hello everyone! I started treatment with NDT in t4 6 micrograms and t3 1.4 in December 2023. I tolerate it well and I'm happy about it! From my analysis done this month it turns out that my ft4 is 0.98 and ft3 is 2.69 and the tsh is 1.34... How do you find these analyses? My endocrinologist wants to
