Conflicting autoimmune diseases
I have gone through the usual treatments - MTX, Leflunomide, Cimzia,
Enbrel
and Rituximab, which I tolerated till my 3rd session at the end of December. I then had a bad reaction near the end of the 1st infusion and am unable to have it any more.

Talking about Medication
I guess I have taken most of the medications mentioned on this site but have settled (for some time) on Symbicort (three puffs a day) and Spiriva (one puff). Atrovent, Ventolin either as a MDI or nebuliser really have no noticeable effect. Also tried OnBrez but it made my breathing worse (like a lead

Moan and advice
I'm currently off my regular
Enbrel
meds as I am trying to conceive. As a result I've been having on and off flares. On top of this I miraculously conceived first attempt but sadly miscarried just before xmas.

Other treatments for Behcet's
It's inexpensive and has mild anti-TNFa properties like the biologics (
Enbrel
, Remicade, Humira, etc.), with fewer side effects and little risk. Low-dose nicotine patches can also work well for oral/skin ulcers - see the research.

Advice please
(I can't remember the names of them all but most recently I have had
Enbrel
which didn't work and the same for Humira. Currently I take mtx and last June had a first infusion of Rituximab with the second in July.

Hello Everyone, My name is Martin and I have Stage 4 Emphysema
. I was first diagnosed in 2000.My meds are currently Symbicort 400/12 and Spiriva. Prednisone and Zithromycin when having an exacerbation. I have tried Onbrez, but it made it harder for me to breathe for at least an hour and I did not see any benefit. Also I have taken the usual Ventolin and Atrovent
