Enalapril
Have been on 5mg of Enalapril for about 10 years with no real issues. End of June this year at my 6 monthly check up my Doctor decided that BP of 140 over 79 was still too high and increased my dose to 10mg per day. Since then I have had two bad attacks and am currently on Prednisolone for the second

Am I experiencing a blood pressure med reaction?
I'll try to be kind of brief... I'm 35 year old male, married w/ two precious girls (4yrs & 3yrs old). About 6 years ago we discovered that I had high blood pressure while checking bp at my inlaws house. We have high bp and high cholesterol in my family so we decided to go to "the families" cardiologist

My daughter has CKD stage 3
When my daughter was born in 1990 there were complications when she was having a complete blood transfusion which resulted in her having acute renal failure and her left leg amputated just below the knee. Beth doesn't have a 'disease' as such as the damage to her kidneys were caused by the complications

Prescribed Tizanidine for migraine headaches
Hi Everyone, Wondering if anyone has used tizanidine for pain? My migraine doctor recently prescribed it for the combination headaches I now get, which seem to be both from the temporal arteritis and migraine headaches. I have spoken with my doctor about side effects and will be seeing her Wednesday

Will muscle & joint pain disappear, and to what degree will I feel better after I quit taking Crestor after six years of 10 mg. daily?
My muscle and join pain has gotten progressively worse over the last 6 or 7 years (about the time I began taking Crestor). I also suffer from moderate to severe osteoarthritis. I never thought the reason for my pain was taking a statin, and I also believed the pain would go away in time. In 2008, I was

Graves' Disease - You're Doing It Wrong!
I am a crap Graves' patient. Last week I ended up in A&E with atrial fibrillation. It started out of the blue on Monday morning. Prior to the AF, I felt absolutely fine. I spent the night in the Acute Medical Ward and they would have kept me for days if I would have allowed it. Saw an endocrinologist

Wonder what would happen without free prescriptions...
Crime, thyroid and amusement don't often go together. But I couldn't help laughing at this story today: The Blotter: A burglar took what? Fri, 10/15/2010 - 12:57pm — Chris Essig If you are going to burglarize a motor vehicle (which I highly suggest you don't do) what would be the first thing you
