Eligard

Taking a pole I’m in my 4th year of ADT (eligard/Zytiga) and my joints are weaker..most Achilles issues. now both my eyes are affected..vitriol membrane humour separation leaving me with dancing Weiss ring floaters disrupting my field if vision. I’m quite myopic so they tell me it’s a risk factor.

Given ADT , Eligard, on Dec. 10 ( 6 month) , and on 1/18, 3 fractions of SBRT to lymph node. On 1/31 PSA was ( .4 ) I started IMRT , Tomotherapy on 02/01 and have 18 fractions completed as of today out of 25 . On 02/17 , PSA is at .22 and testerone is <7 .

Currently on Eligard and soon to start Docetaxel.

Hello All , Still having my prostate after SBRT 6 yrs ago , and now having had SBRT to 1 hot lymph nose in the pelvic area and just started mt 25 sessions of IMRt to the pelvic area , and just started being on Eligard , Zytiga , prednisone.

He’s been on Eligard since July 21 when PSA was 14.7. His PSA this jumped to 22.4 so started on Xtandi due to being Type II diabetic. I’ve researched Fenbendazole and curious if anyone has had success adding it to your treatment protocol.

My father has started to experience some symptoms after the second eligard more often than after he took his first eligard shot. He is experiencing dizziness light headaches , back pain and joint pain.

Now, 3 months being off ADT (last 3mo Eligard injection was July 2021) ALP increased to 103. I KNOW THESE NUMBERS ARE STILL CONSIDERED NORMAL. However, could this slightly and continuos increase in ALP be associated with BMD? DEXA scan in August 2020 showed normal BMD.

Been on arbitrone for 1 year and 1 month increase in PSA from. 7 to 1.8, on eligard, since beginning, xgeva monthly until November of 2021 now every 3 months.

Could this be from the Eligard ? Since the Pylarify scan did not show anything but the 1 hot node it dont mean there is no other cancer there . I visit Dr. Szumivits , ( MO ) Jan.7 at the Univ. of Chicago . With these pain is that a game changer as far as treatment , or can it be the Eligard ?

I had my last Eligard 3 month shot on March 2, 2021, when I started a ADT break. By beginning of September my PSA was 0.10 with T <20. On December 2021, my PSA rose to 0.18 with T = 28. I had another PSA and T test today, six weeks later. My PSA has risen to 0.34 and my T = 54.

It's been a year since my last 3-month Eligard injection (following radical prostatectomy and salvage radiation) and my PSA level in late November has stayed undetectable while my testosterone level has risen to 13.2 nmol/L. Recently my breasts have become quite tender.

I have been taking Casodex and Eligard and today received my first good news that my PSA has gone from 27 to 3.6. Hooray!!

Given ADT , Eligard , 6 month . Recently saw MO to start abi. , Zytiga soon . So the question , it was mentioned , there is a chance for a cure after all radiation is complete ?. Has anyone gone down this same path and was cured ?

was on eligard alone for 2 year until it failed. has been on Erleada for 1.5 year and now PSA is creeping up from 0.03 to 0.06. it's all uncertain for now but the discussion of changing therapy might come up, I read somewhere that there are therapies that targets certain gene mutation.

We will stick to the Eligard for now . SemperFi , JJ

The radiation was accompanied by a six month Eligard injection; This brought PSA to < 0.1. However, after recovery from the effects of eligard, PSA rose as follows: 0.6 in 6/10/2021 ————-> 1.0 in 9/18/2021 ———-> 1.9 in 1/3/2021. The PSMA scan was done on 1/6/2021.
