Regular episodes of unstable angina
Hi, I had an MI in 2018 which required a stent; up until a few months ago things were pretty good however since April I have had to attend a/e for chest pains and told it is unstable angina. My ecg, bloods and another angiogram do not show a new heart attack (which I am really pleased with) but I am

So frustrating!
Stuck in limbo, I'm suffering a tight chest, discomfort on left side of chest, breathless at times, completely numb/heavy left arm and associated sick feeling and dizziness. Hall mark heart attack, but ECG results always come back clear (usually because it has calmed down by then), and bloods too (no

Ecg
Hi does anyone know on here if it’s normal for an ecg to have what looks like barbed wire through it? Hope that makes sense. Thank you

What does Afib feel like
This might sound daft but I don't really know what it feels like. What I feel now is very different to what I felt prior to my diagnosis and pacemaker fitted. My heart rate and ecg when checked has been fine, at pacemaker clinic they said I'd had 2 small episodes of Afib, which I didn't feel. I have

Hi, I am hoping someone can help ease my worried mind. Had B P reading of 239/110, went to A &E last week. Bloods, ECG ok but x ray showed shadow on heart. GP increased BP meds Heart attack 6 years ago. GP not received results yet but said if serious they would be back by now. I am new to this community

Acid reflux or something else? Feeling really down.

symptoms following open heart surgery
I'm 33 and had open heart surgery two months ago to repair my mitral valve. My resting heart rate before surgery used to be around 55 bpm but after surgery this jumped to 100 bpm. The doctor said this was normal and was just the heart adjusting and that it would go down over time. Over the next two months

Ablation for SVT
Hi everyone, new here :) I was diagnosed with SVT in Feb this year after one of my episodes was finally recorded on an ECG. I get them so rarely, once or twice a year at most so it's taken a while. Cardiologist strongly recommended a catheter ablation over medication as he didn't see the point in taking

Stent
Hi all, I am 68 year old woman. I had a stent fitted in LAD 25-05. Experienced a lot of discomfort, went back into A&E bloods done. ECG, Scan etc. All fine. Still getting discomfort now. Freaking me out. Is this normal!

Thank you !
Thank you for all those who have offered to participate in the Qardio ECG Monitor trial. We are so grateful that we have such considerate members on the Forum. We’ve been overwhelmed by everyone’s response, the final candidates were selected on a first-come basis. May I take this opportunity in thanking

Irregular heartbeat and palpitations after exercise
I have done a gentle jog for over twenty years, no problem. On Monday after my jog, I felt palpitations and like my heart was jumping and pounding. I put my partners Apple Watch on for an ecg and it said Afib once then inconclusive about 4 times after that. It lasted about 5 hours. I spoke to a dr the

Strange sensation in chest and head
At the start of 2020 I noticed that my sleep was rapidly decreasing each night and by late Feb2020 I seen my Dr who thought it could be anxiety. I keep myself fit regularly as in workouts, exercise bike, rowing machine and treadmill. I noticed that as my sleep was declining that I would experience

Echocardiogram results...a likely problem?
Hello everyone. Yesterday I had a letter about the results of my echocardiogram. I would like to share what was written because I don't know how to feel about it and maybe someone who has had similar results can shed some insight on what it means. "Limited echo images were available due to poor windows
