Swapping Rasagiline for Safinamide - Hobson’s Choice or out of the frying pan and into the fire?
I have been on Rasagiline from the start. 8 years as my staple bedrock of my cocktail of PD drugs principally Ropinirole, Amantadine and of course Co-Careldopa. I have a pacemaker and take Atorvastatin and Ramipril for heart issues. Now the pharmacy says Rasagiline is in short supply in the UK and likely

Unlocking the Maze of B Complexes: A Handy List for Safe Dosages and Bioactive Vitamins
It can be quite challenging to find reliable B-complex supplements that are safe in terms of dosage. Additionally, it is advisable to opt for bioactive vitamins for added safety. To help each other out, I have started compiling a list categorized into low, medium, and high dosages of B6 and B9, which

Amantadine questions
For those who are taking amantadine or have taken this drug, a few questions... I'm on carbidopa/levodopa, entacapone and amantadine (100 mg 3x/day). Do you find it causes swelling in the feet, lower legs and hands? If you came off the drug, what was the upside and the downside? How did you come

park_bear made a very compelling argument for taking P5P (active B6)
park_bear made a very compelling argument for taking P5P (active B6)(a). My comments are: 1) When I tried taking (his recommended) 2 hours after C/L, I started walking side to side and the problem didn’t clear until I took my C/L again. 2) I am afraid to take P5P before bed because I did not sleep

Vitamin B6 Toxicity: Available Testing of B6 Plasma Level Does NOT Tell You What You Need to Know

Background
: Vitamin B6 participates as a coenzyme in over 100 different biochemical reactions. When it does so it is converted to the inactive form, pyridoxine. The body contains a recycling loop that restores the pyridoxine to the active form, P5P. Vitamin B2 is required for this process

End Game
My wonderful mum has taken her last breath this evening. Whilst the last few weeks have seen days of deterioration and then stabilising, this final stage has been very quick. Two days in bed, unresponsive once we administered anticipatory medication because I wanted to be sure she wasn’t in pain or

Wearing off symptoms
I understand peak dose
dyskinesia
. I very occasionally get it (mild). I don't understand end of dose
dyskinesia
, which I get in the evening. Anyone understand why this happens? I also don't understand wearing off brain fog. Anyone?

Off Dyskinesia-anyone else have it? What's your fix?
Which I'd when I started experiencing
dyskinesia
when the Carbidopa/levadopa started to wear off. And was told snd treated by a movement specialist that I was over medicated and attempted to reduce my dosage and frequency.
