Dronedarone and Edoxaban for AFib

I am in mid 70s and female and was diagnosed with AFib 3 years ago. Despite two ablations I continue to have episodes at least every 12 days lasting around 12 hours. I have been prescribed Dronedarone 400mg twice a day with Edoxaban 60mg once a day.

From checking drugs interactions it is recommended Edoxaban should be lowered to 30mg when taken with Dronedarone. Have recently experienced post menopausal bleeding but Drs /EP advise to just continue with 60mg Edoxaban.

Has anyone else had experience of this please as am worried.

Thanks

yes I can imagine you are worried . Sorry the ablations didn’t work for you. I would get the post menopausal bleeding checked out just to be on the safe side . Ask your GP.

After reading the interaction results given by drugs.com I can understand your obvious concerns. Please search out an alternative source of medical insight. Do you think asking your pharmacist might be a quick first option?
