Caelyx experiences of it. Covid vaccine question too.
Her CA125 levels have steadily risen, now 1400, she is down for Chemo again to hopefully get rid of some remaining cells, Caelyx (Liposomal
Doxorubicin
) is now the drug of choice. Any hints tips experiences for her this time round?

Seeking wisdom from those of you that have "been there done that"
I just started my 4 dose - 2nd round of
Doxorubicin
, Cyclophosphamide and placebo/atezolizumab 2 weeks ago....Lord, that was a rough ride for 7 days after! As I am anticipating surgery, I'm not sure if I should go for a lumpectomy (the tumor has shrunk from 7.5cm to 3.5cm so far!)

Use of Rx drugs and botanical compounds to prevent chemo drug-resistance with Docetaxel.
Reungpatthanaphong found that artemisinin, artesunate, and dihydroartemisinin, when combined with
doxorubicin
and pirarubicin, increased their cytotoxicity against P-glycoprotein-overexpressing K562/ADR, and in MRP1-overexpressing GLC4/ADR cell lines [58].

S-phase-dependent chemotherapy drugs, which interact with DNA or block DNA synthesis such as
doxorubicin
, cisplatin, or 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) ... were highly effective in killing the cancer cells.

O-CHOP
Obinutuzunab, Cyclophosphamide,
Doxorubicin
, Vincristine. Am scheduled for infusion 1\29,30,31. Doctor said that this cocktail has 30 years success rate leading up to stem cell transplant. Wondering if anyone has had this and how it went. I know I will lose my hair and it will grow back.

Melatonin - Review.
Combined with chemotherapeutic agents (etoposide,
doxorubicin
, or docetaxel), melatonin (1 mM) enhanced the sensitivity of cancer cells to cytokine-induced apoptosis in vitro [92].

So they stopped that and finished with the platnum, next week try
Doxorubicin
Liposomal same thing happens but everyone is prepared so no eye rolling. So now we are back to the drawing board! Has any one experienced this?

Advice Needed Urgently
Chemo would be Ketoconazole and
Doxorubicin
for weeks 1, 3, and 5 and Estramustine and Docetaxel for weeks 2, 4, and 6. No treatments during weeks 7 and 8. Not sure if radiotherapy is included or not. There is my conundrum. I'm at a fork in the road and I don't know which way to go.

Cat scan results show small growth, waiting for tumor testing to see if I qualify for clinical trials.
If I don't qualify, I was told I might be put on
Doxorubicin
. I will write an update when I find out what is coming next. Bless all of you out there fighting this with me.

Just needing to talk
Saw the oncologist last week and his plan is to throw everything at me -
doxorubicin
/cyclophosphamide 4 cycles, taxane 12 weekly cycles, radiotherapy, 6-monthly bisphosphonate infusions for three years, and anastrozole for ten years (if I survive that long...) I am a bit undecided.
