Confused about pressure and trabs
They gave me drops and a pill to bring the pressure down and then put me on
dorzolamide
/timolol and monoprost. The doctor said that my right optic nerve was badly damaged and I should have trabulectomy asap, although 1 in 500 patients go blind with that surgery. Is that true?

Trabeculectomy recovery
More info - I'm a 39 years old woman, plateua iris glaucoma with quite severe short sightedness (-6.50) spent about 7 years on various drops which would work just for a while, had laser iridotomy 3 years ago - was on
Dorzolamide
with timolol and travoprost (still take in left eye) and also ended up taking

Alternative to argon laser peripheral iridoplasty?
Now using Monopost, Betaxolol,
Dorzolamide
. Referred by my consultant to another specialist to confirm the mechanics of the blockage which he believes is plateau iris syndrome.

Traumatic afternoon at eye clinic UPDATE
Any way looks like I have no option but to try the
Dorzolamide
/Timolol that hs been prescribed. Was told to try it for two weeks. Have now got the secretary's email address - so at the first signs of any problems with the drops, I will be contacting her!

Dorzolamide, not lasting
Does anyone have problems with their
dorzolamide
not lasting long enough from prescription to prescription? I use 1 drop 3 times a day and find the bottle is only lasting approximately 22 days, causing problems with my prescriptions as I was told the drops should last at least 30 days.

Help can’t get eye drops
Hi Everyone Happy Easter 🐣 Due to very high pressures my consultant has tried me on
dorzolamide
, which unfortunately I had a bad reaction to. The latest new drop is Iopidine, which after days of trying my pharmacist says they are not able to source.

Drug side effects pilocarpine, dorzolamide/timolol, diamox generic acetazolomide
Taking pilocarpine,
dorzolamide
/timolol for over a month but recently seems to make me dizzy especially when lying flat. Also slowly withdrawing diamox 250mg. How can I lie still for surgery with this. Does anyone have advice or experience of this. All comments appreciated.

alpha agonist drops and narrow angles
I have tried
Dorzolamide
(problem with side effects) and Tiopex (didn't work) so the only remaining type is alpha agonist. So far this has not been prescribed. However I also have narrow angles (not bad enough for iridotomy) and these drops cause pupil dilation. Will this be safe?

Glaucoma sufferers
There are other examples of how it SLOWLY affected me over a three and a half year span but this is just a short summary to warn others if they too have any such symptoms and are using Latanaprost and
dorzolamide
to control their glaucoma. Beware of the preservative Benzaklonium chloride.

Update and Further Vasculitis (WG) advice would be welcome
I am on 25mg of prednisolone a day and, due to having scleritis, I am taking four drops of Acular a day and a further two drops of
dorzolamide
to relieve growing eye pressure. At the moment, I have few, if any, aches and pains and feel pretty well and happy...the calm before the storm, I suspect!
