The most boring disease
Without
dopamine
, everything seems so terribly BORING! I just can't seem to get excited about anything anymore. End of rant.

New molecule shows promise for Parkinson’s treatment.
It also appeared to protect the brain cells tasked with
dopamine
production from dying off and, unlike GDNF, it was able to bypass the blood-brain barrier. " Excerpt from the study .

CBD cream/lotion helped me.
For me, by itself the cream not enough, but even the reduction makes possible an hour or so of sleep before getting up, when--I think--the
dopamine
in my brain starts to increase, permitting sleep since the legs are already calmed down a bit.

Molecule offers hope for halting Parkinson’s
Researchers from the University of Helsinki found that molecule BT13 has the potential to both boost levels of
dopamine
, the chemical that is lost in Parkinson’s, as well as protect the
dopamine
-producing brain cells from dying.

Betrayal and the Horrible Pain After
, in my case it was neurontin (which I know can be a lifesaver for some but left me feeling suicidal), drugs for epilepsy, drugs for Parkinson’s besides the
dopamine
agonists, Vicodin and so on until he hit on some research about methadone and finally I had hope again.

Pholcodine DA?
Does anyone know if the cough syrup Pholcodine Linctus is a
Dopamine
agonist? Reason I ask is that I have had two solid weeks of perfect sleep since my body has taken well to Gabapentin.

Anyone know about this research that warned against taking gabapentin and pregabalin?
I just got off the only
dopamine
agonist I could even handle, but I didn't have any idea what to turn to, as one dose of gabapentin caused such dizziness that I wouldn't take it again, and Tramadol (pain reliever) caused other problems, so I went off that after two weeks.

NLX-112 works by targeting serotonin cells inside the brain which are believed to contribute to the development of dyskinesia, by releasing
dopamine
in an erratic manner. It aims to reduce dyskinesia by decreasing the amount of
dopamine
the cells release.

MAO inhibitors treat depression by readjusting levels of neurotransmitters such as serotonin and
dopamine
in the brain. The downside is that the medication requires dietary changes and careful avoidance of drug interactions to prevent serious side effects.

We continue on the road to recovery by approaching the issue of how to recover through supplement therapy to increase the body's

biosynthesis.

Waiting for an appointment
Obviously I don't want to start again on a
dopamine
agonist it took ages to come off them and the augmentation was severe. If anyone has advice on any treatment may be revelent until I get my neurologist appointment it would be appreciated.

relationship between diabetes mellitus and Parkinson's disease. Reuven Sandyk.
This issue, which has been largely ignored, is of clinical relevance since animal studies indicate that chronic hyperglycemia decreases striatal dopaminergic transmission and increases the sensitivity of postsynaptic
dopamine
receptors.

Basic dopamine question
Dopamine
is made in the following way: Phenylalanine -> tyrosine -> l-dopa ->
dopamine
Who is responsible for doing this? Is it the
dopamine
neuron job or is it just the neuron's job to deliver the
dopamine
across the brain once it's produced?
