Mitochondrial failing due to T3 problems
I have also read that - • Prolonged administration of pharmacological doses of
dopamine
can significantly reduce serum TSH levels and thyroid hormone secretion in normal and critically ill subjects. I have been taking
dopamine
agonists for years.

blood test back - any thoughts?
Also my white blood count came back as much lower (3.6 vs 5 last year) - do any
dopamine
or prefab affect blood results? Just curious about the drop. Thanks as always for all your support in getting this far.

Augmentation
Hi, I am trying to come off the
dopamine
agonist that I have been taking for the past eight years for my RLS, does anybody know if the augmentation I have built up will go when I am clear of the medication, or am I stuck with it for the rest of my life?

Kratom anti-depressant, anti-psychotic, anti-anxiety herb!
Serotonin,
Dopamine
, GABA, and Noradreniline. It corrected the imbalance. I remember having a conversation and I wasn't compelled to act on the negative images in my head. I was no longer abscessed. I could focus and reply normaly. Kratom for me with my disorders cured my mental Illnesses.

the curse of lifelong RLS…
Three years ago, at the age of 60, I got to see the professor himself and he advised
Dopamine
Agonists , either Ropinirole or the Rotigotine Patch, despite my ferritin being way below 100 my request for an iron transfusion was refused.

To those newly diagnosed! There is hope!
According to Dr Laura Michley, PD can be treated like Diabetes, except
dopamine
instead of insulin. I wish I would have know that when I was dx, especially at 38. You need to seriously consider memorizing the paper attached. It is the most important paper I’ve read with Parkinson’s.

BREAKTHROUGH! Parkinson's Progression HALTED by Inhibiting Enzyme!
Summary: Researchers discovered that inhibiting a specific enzyme, USP30, in a mouse model protects
dopamine
-producing neurons, which are typically lost as the disease progresses.

Resting Tremor Stopped Briefly With Hypnosis
Perhaps the threshold damage to
dopamine
neurons had been reached. But the hypnotic suggestion still works to briefly stop both the tremor and muscle contraction. So, is chronic muscle contraction prodromal to PD?

why docs don’t want to prescribe opioids for RLS….😔
Yes, I am very tribal when it comes to being in the anti-
dopamine
agonist camp for RLS as well. Why?

Weaning off high dose Pramipexole
Seemed odd as it is a
dopamine
drug but it worked to knock back the symptoms to the evening. . Then over time I started adapting and required higher and higher doses. I've now taken 1.5mg a day for the past 4 or 5 years, which is way high and augmenting again.

An exhaustive study that offers hope that some types of activities can improve symptoms even as disease progresses
Traditionally, research has focused on striatal
dopamine
loss as the main driver of symptoms. But this study shows compensatory activity in the cortex can help mitigate severity. This suggests there may be opportunities to enhance compensatory pathways through therapies. 2.

Rytary
1 -25/100 and 145 mg Rytary helps with off time when I run out of
dopamine
, I have to sit down and wait for pills to kick in, but the Rytary helps with that now, but I’m very stiff and achy in leg and arm since on Rytary, anyone else experiencing stiffness with Rytary?

Rytary… might stop??
Rytary gives me 4 hour ON on a 5 hour dose cycle, BUT, the afternoon slump around 3 pm (halfway between doses, but when endogenous
dopamine
is naturally low) is WORSE with some unexpected foot dystonia.
