Dads starting to feel minor aches one month post chemo - normal?
Hey everyone, My dad finished 6 cycles of
Docetaxel
one month ago (Oct 5). He was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in February this year PSA of 200, which has now decreased to 0.59. He took the triplet therapy route. Background is in my bio.

Pluvicto Update
I think it has been better tolerated than
Docetaxel
but the fatigue may be worse. Not sure if Pluvicto is to blame or the Xtandi. I am very weak and tire easily. I did walk a mile the other day but I was wiped out afterwords. Mild nausea, or it could be hunger pains, I just always feel empty.

Advice on mets needed
His urologist suggests lutron+
docetaxel
. This is a relatively rural area far from big cancer centers. Is this treatment optimal? Can he/ should also get radiation treatments for the detected lesions? Other options?

SE's on Cabazitaxel/Carboplatin Combo
Long story short: I had 3
docetaxel
infusions with zero side effects. Unfortunately, the response was only partial, so last week I started on Cab/Carboplatin combo.

what to expect
I’ve now had five out of six
docetaxel
chemo sessions. my energy has been shot to hell. There are days that it’s all I can do but get out of bed. I can get winded just walking to the bathroom.. I continue to push myself to bike ride and garden and walk. It feels like I’ve aged 30 years.

Memory loss with Docetaxel
She said that the combination of
Docetaxel
with Eligard may possibly be contributing. She suggested they may want to have him see the Neuro team for an evaluation and baseline cognitive testing.

Kidney failure and future treatments
Because of that, the oncologist cancelled the
DOCETAXEL
treatment and said that as long as his creatinine level was too high, no treatment could be put in place.

Cause of Liver Enzymes increasing
Questions: I’m scheduled to have my 2nd
Docetaxel
next Friday. Is it realistic to expect my enzyme numbers to respond that fast? How long can I wait between treatments without affecting efficacy? If I can’t tolerate
Docetaxel
are there alternatives?

Update
April 30 I had my first infusion of
docetaxel
. Yes, there are side effects. One thing that freaked me out was all of my hair that was in the sink this morning. No more travel for me this year and probably no more hair! Better to be alive with no hair than dead with a full head of hair.

Radium 223 before Cabazitaxel?
This was prescribed today to manage bone pain and also because my PSA has not particularly responded to
Docetaxel
and the bone scan shows further cancer growth. There is some doubt as to whether more chemo will do any good. Has anyone had experience of doing things this way round?

Cabazitaxel plus carboplatin
I had chemo with

Hello, dear people!
When he had his CT, doctors found some modifications on lungs and pleura so...he had 6 sessions of
docetaxel
and prednison and eligard. Al the modifications in lungs and pleura disappeared and bone mets lowered in dimensions. After he finished
docetaxel
sessions he started Xgeva too.

MO recommends decreased Docetaxel dose
His MO is decreasing his
Docetaxel
dose to 75%. His first session did land him in the hospital with possible injection and neutropenia. Just wondering if this is common with
Docetaxel
? Does the 75% dose mean that chemo won’t be as effective? Thank you

Re engagement of Enzalutamide in the UK?
Despite 10 rounds of
Docetaxel
my PSA continues to rise. I'd be grateful for any thoughts and experiences? Thanks

what dose of Docetaxel were you given ?
Just wondering what the common dosage for
Docetaxel
in most CRMPc guys would be ? I have had one infusion of 160mg
Docetaxel
, and I think I had ALL the side effects.

Seeking feedback on PSMA Scan results after 6 chemo treatments
Am at Mayo today for scans/bloodwork after 6 chemo (
docetaxel
+ Carboplatin) treatments. My PSMA Pet Scan results are below. I was hoping for more dramatic improvement, but I am grateful for ANY improvement (or stabilization). I meet with my doctor early tomorrow morning.

Brother's numbers since ADT plus Orchiectomey since diagnosed in February
He just had his first Chemo treatment (
Docetaxel
