Cancelled Again
Well here I go again, another cancellation, another wait. I have continual AF for just coming up to two years. I’m on 10mg of Bisoprolol and 62.5 digoxin, plus Apixaban. First appointment with Cardio, told to lose weight and get on with it, no medication, oh ok. Went to GP who gave medication and

Just a quick one about little things that can affect us
I had my follow up on Wednesday as I mentioned I’m still not 100%. My heart failure is going to be checked out next month with an echo. The doctor wants at least a month to give the pacemaker a chance to do some magic. My EP does not just treat the heart as if the person does not exist. After our

Flecainide stopped working
I have been on Flecainide for years & my AF well controlled. Now it has started to cause other arrhythmias so I have to stop it This happened a few years ago & as soon as it was stopped my AF occurred regularly & made me feel very unwell I was able then to restart it but this time it’s not possible

Flax Seeds and A-fib
Hi everyone, I was thinking of introducing milled flax seeds in to my diet as a health thing after watching a programme on them. However, after doing a Google search I am finding that certain sites are pointing towards it not being a good thing when on Anticoagulants. I’m on Apixiban,Bisoprolol and digoxin

AF concerns
I had an AF episode a year ago and this week I’ve had another…….fast heart rate, sweating, faint and feeling just awful. I’ve been taking Diltiazem for nearly a year and now the GP has prescribed Digoxin to go with it. Just wondered how often people might have these episodes and whether my symptoms were

Digoxin vs Pace & Ablate?
As some already know I’ve had a hard recovery since ablation on 23/11/22. HR was on the rise again slowly from then and the severe respiratory episode went on & on. Just coming to the end of what I think is maybe the 5th antibiotic course! I’ve now been on digoxin 125mcg since 28/2/22 and following

AF heart failure
My husband takes 125 mg of Digoxin and I think I have noted a slight improvement in his condition. It is difficult to say as the cardiologist is juggling around with 6 different drug s . His main symptom is fatigue Best Marilyn

Slow pulse after ablation
My normal sinus pulse is 55 to 60 resting. Digoxin and flecanide have sent it even lower. Also meds are giving me all sorts of different rhythms and pauses. My cardiologist will do an ablation but says I may need a pacemaker after. Anyone with experience of bradycardia from drugs ?

A very long 12 weeks and 2 days
Hi Everyone, I hope you’re all feeling okay, confident that you’re handling things and that you’ll speak out to someone if you’re not. Well, I bet you hoped you’d seen/heard the last of me (hope in a nice way 🤔). So I had my ablation 12 weeks & 2 days ago. It was 2 days after that my sore throat
