denosumab injections
I would be particularly interested and grateful hearing from people who also had bad reactions to AA, but then were subsequently ok with
denosumab
, and if anyone has stopped the
denosumab
, what happened with the “coming down” treatment.

A Different View on Bone Protection
The lower dose of
denosumab
, Prolia every six months seems a reasonable conservative approach. Along with regular dental hygiene and care. Also, after some years on
denosumab
, when it is stopped ther can be some rebound drop in bone density.

QUERY RE: LUNG CANCER AND BRAIN METS
I also have an infusion 1 x per month of
Denosumab
. To date, I have responded positively to my prescription to the extent that the cancer has shrunk and in many places has disappeared. I feel healthy. I continue to work, do aerobic classess 4 x per week, travel and socialise frequently.

So many mistakes have been made with me that I have ended up with multiple problems so I really don't want any more if the
Denosumab
injection will be bad for me and potentially, do more damage!

Progress report after two years on Forsteo and ongoing treatment
The results of the x-ray are beside the point, fracture or not, I would really like to know what the long term plan for me is before I start
Denosumab
. I have spoken to a ROS nurse who advised me to ask the rationale behind the decision to prescribe
Denosumab
at this stage.

I’ve been doing well on a combination of 125 mg palbociciclib, letrazole and monthly
denosumab
for 12 cycles after 11 rounds of weekly paclitaxal chemo. I have a definite met in t10 and suspect mets throughout rest of spine and had 19/30 positive axillary nodes removed.

PSA hovering around 1 even after a year on ADT + Enza, should we insist on Triplet Therapy ?
His treatment started off with 10 sessions of Palliative RT followed by combination of Degarelix + Enzaluatmide +
Denosumab
repeating every 28 days.

What first?: Provenge or Nubeqa?
For these patients, the antiresorptive agents
denosumab
and zoledronic acid can be used to help manage skeletal-related events (SREs).

Advice needed, help from my friends here
One of them is my 6 monthly
Denosumab
bone jab, which must not be delayed by more than a month or my bones will weaken (I already have a fractured spine due to osteoporosis which happened a month after first taking a high dose of prednisolone).

Medication
I have now been on the
Denosumab
( Prolia) for 10yrs,2 injections a year, which suits me just fine. I now believe I have to change my medication to something else,as your only supposed to be on it ten years. Well when you are happy with a medication you don’t really want to change it.

Denosumab, is it worth it
What exactly would
denosumab
do for me other than side effects and having to drive 8 hours to get the shot which costs $150 after insurance? The "billed" cost is over $11,000

-
denosumab
60 mg every 3 months 2021 -transition 1/2022 to darolutamide 600 mg twice daily due to cognitive dysfunction and tremors on enzalutamide. Darolutamide better tolerated but intermittent right arm tremors. - Germline/somatic mutational testing negative for BRCA1/2 and MSI stable.

my dilemma Denomosab
The consultant suggested that I now try six monthly
Denosumab
injections . I am now worried about the side effects and long term implications of this but can’t seem to find an alternative and have a fear of my bones becoming weaker. can anyone help?

Bone Density - Dexa
But doctors persist in prescribing harmful Bisphosphonates &
Denosumab
(Prolia / Xgeva). (Given that my results were all "normal", I don't know what significance I should place on the T- & Z-scores.) -Patrick

Denosumab if bone strength increasing on ADT?
At the time of his diagnosis he was advised
Denosumab
because a Dexa scan showed osteoporosis. He never took these injections - he is a difficult patient with poor compliance to medicines. A repeat Dexa after a year shows that his bone strength has actually increased.

Has anyone been on Prolia since they were in their 50s or early 60s and stayed on it long term?
I would be interested in hearing from anyone (or if you know someone) who has been on Prolia (
denosumab
) since they were in their 50s or early 60s, and stayed on it long term. I am due to start this treatment in a few days and I am 59. I am concerned of the long term effects.
