Confusing labwork. Central hypo?
Good morning, I am a 26 year old female, 5 feet and 160 lbs. I also have a congenital heart disease with severe mitral regurgitation. I've been overweight for most of my life- but have recently put on 20 lbs in 10 months. I've always eaten mindfully, avoiding sugar. I also have some of the classic hypo

After 5 yrs Cytomel causing headache and nausea
I'm a patient of Dr Peatfield and I've been taking Cynomel the past 5 years, with Nutri Thyroid plus Adrenals, plus B12 and folate. I'm also on HRT Femoston 1 mg. It's all been very successful, actually saved my life I think as I had terrible symptoms of hypo. I've been taking half a 25mcg tablet of

Buy Cytomel/NDT
Can anyone give me information on where I can but NDT and Cytomel. My GP refuses to prescribe either and I just know that levothyroxine isn't the drug for me as I feel no benefit whatsoever but that is all they will prescribe.

Gall Bladder, Nature throid Update
I have been taking Dr Berg Ox bile gallbladder formula for two months now and haven't noticed any difference. I've started taking two grains of Nature throid (130 mgs) and wake up with a sore throat. It feels like acid reflux but I know it's just the increase in hormone. I decided to take my temperature

appointment with a New Dr today. She listened!
Hello All. Well I finally seen the newest endo today. She listened to me for once. She told me she likes to see a TSH @ .4- 1 or 2...... but as i am on currently 50 of synthroid she said she is glad i changed from generic to name brand because that tends to be more consistent and more people have

Low TSH & T4, with a high T3. Help with NDT dosage plse
I am new here. (I have been asking lots of questions over the last few weeks!) My GP always told me I didn't have a thyroid issue, so I have been self medicating for 8 yrs. My GP finally diagnosed underactive thyroid about 2 weeks ago and asked me to come off all meds and offered me only 25mcgs of Levo

Liothyronine
can anyone PM me with suggestions on where to buy Liothyronine 25mcg. Also just to clarify that Cytomel is just a brand name for liothyronine? Many thanks.

New Results – High Reverse T3 Again
Hi All, I'm back with new blood test results after 8 weeks back on Synthroid 125mcgs. I was fed up with trying new things, so I went back to what worked for me originally to get a clean slate. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me any longer. I'm more exhausted than ever, have put on another 10 pounds

Please help me understand my blood test!
Hi guys. I'm new here. Looking back, I think I have had an underactive thryroid since I was 14yrs old. (I am now 38yrs old.) I had my 1st NHS test when I was 20yrs old, which came back "normal". When I was 30yrs old, I went to see Dr Peatfield. Under his care, for the last 8 yrs, I have been taking:

Nature Throid
I wanted to take Armour, but the doctor said Nature Throid was better because it has T1234. Since taking it, I feel better but am still tired most afternoons. She prescribed Cytomel 5 mgs for the afternoon, but It doesn't seem to be working. So I'm thinking since I feel so perky in the morning, maybe
