Cytomel

Recent blood results - help required please!
My results are as follows: T4 - low (9.1) T3 - high (9.6) TSH - very low (can't recall the value) I take 50mcg T4 and 40 mcg T3 (
Cytomel
). I need Cynomel to function day to day. My doctor wants to reduce all my medication but I know I will go into a downward spiral if I do.

Cytomel and Sertraline or Levothyroxine and Sertraline?
I think mostly levothyroxine treatment could work but it takes much longer for me to feel better between levo and
cytomel
. If I take
cytomel
I feel like I can greatly increase my mood now instead of waiting months to make the same progress I could make in a week with
cytomel
.

Are my results good?
I am on 125mg of Levothyroxine and 6mg of
Cytomel
. I've got ongoing nausea, joint aches, fatigue, sinus issues, etc. I have Hashmioto's and my latest blood test also show I'm in peri-menopause, with an FSH of 26.8 (3.5-12.5) and oestradiol levels of 49 (45-854).

Not responding as I expected
T3(
Cytomel
)5mcg makes me cold and it is also lowering my pulse! How can this be possible? I'm currently at 36.5 celsius.... pulse is 50-65.. I'm usually at 36.8-9 without the t3. Shouldn't the T3 increase my temp and pulse??

Is t3 resistance real?
I was researching
cytomel
as I have some at hand and was planning on adding a bit to my synthroid but now I’m confused as I have found various doctors recommending against it because you can down regulate your t3 receptors by using extra t3 and so making your symptoms worse.

Why even adding T3 is not helping?
Six months ago I finally maaged to get
cytomel
(T3) to raise my FT3. I started with 5 ug/day (reduced levo to 150) and now I am taking 40 divided throughout the day and still suffer from the same symptoms!! How can it be? My FT3 is much higher now so I'm absorbing it.

NDT to T3
I am self medicating since I asked my doctor and she gave me only 5mcg of
Cytomel
. I knew by reading here that it's way too low and I cut the 25 mcg in half that I order online. I am scared that I will make myself ever worst but I have to try and see what works for me.

Cytomel 2 or 3 times a day?
Hi, I currently take 5mcg
cytomel
at 6 am and 2.5mcg at 1pm. I’m thinking of splitting my dose to take 2.5mcg at 7am, 2pm and 10pm. Is that pointless? I just think I have too much t3 raging in my body before lunch bc I’m STARVING and pretty irritable. Thoughts?

In your experience the difference of effects between Unipharma T3 and Cynomel/Cytomel? And between Cynomel/Cytomel?
As unipharma T3 is so difficult to acquire I was thinking of trying Cynomel or
Cytomel
and wondered of others experiences of these compared to Unipharma T3? Also, what is your experience of Cynomel compared to
Cytomel
?

Struggling with Thyroid Levels
Should she continue with THyroid S and go up to 3 or 4 grains or do we look toward a levo/
cytomel
combination. This is so frustrating.

THYROID TEST RESULTS - HELP PLEASE
(I saw
Cytomel
and Tiromel, but was not really sure about safe sources.) CONFUSED: Something I am confused about is they don't seem terrible compared to what they give as normal limits – but I have strong symptoms. The TSH is the only thing in their red zone. Hmmm.

Is it common for t4 hormone brands to be incapability after prolonged use?
I had changed over to
cytomel
only and I know it is something better as far as absorption. My tsh is (0.40) 0.40-4.00 ul/dl t4 is (1.0) 0.8-2.0 free t3 (3.6) 2.0-4.0 are my results on both t4/t3 combo. T4 tirosint has become completely useless.
