Help interpreting my test results
Hi. I have been struggling with long covid that’s better now but just did a recent lab and wondering if it looks ok. I still have some lingering symptoms like temple pressure on one side and joint pain, and vertigo. My TSh w/reflex to Free T4 went down a bit from 1.08 in Dec to .85 currently. My SGOT

Totally confused
I had a partial thyroidectomy about 2010. My thyroid levels were fine for several years but then started dropping into hypothyroidism range. I was put on Levothyroxine at 50mg and was ok for few years. Tested Jan 2023 was ok. Tested early Feb 2024 and was hyper not hypo so my gp reduced the levothyroxine

TSH increase
My TSH has increased slightly even though my dose hasn't changed and my T4 is exactly the same. Is this normal? My TSH is suppressed due to thyroid cancer My results in August were T4 - 22.5 and TSH 0.13 Now my T4 is 22.5 and TSH 0.45

Change dosage?
I’m currently taking levothyroxine - 75 4 days a week and 100 3 days a week. Latest test results are T4 17.3 (range 11-21.2) and TSH 2.43 (range 0.27-4.2). These numbers seem much more in line with similar numbers this time last year and I’m having all the same symptoms. Last year my dose was increased

Levo increase or not?
Hi Everyone! My most recent TSH and T4 bloods (28/05) showed: TSH - 1.22 T4 - 11.8 I am on 50mcg of levothyroxine. Started 25 for 2 months, then increase to 50 for the past month. I have also been supplementing as directed by advice on here, including addressing my iron deficiency. I haven't retested

First IVF Cyle - Endo sufferer - What should I be doing to prepare?
Hi All! Just looking for some advice about what to do prior to a IVF cycle. Bit of background… I have stage 4 endometriosis, kissing ovaries, 5cm cyst on one ovary and a small fibroid. My partner and I have been TTC for 6 years. The years of lack of success led to a lot of weight gain as I took

An Enlightening Endocrine Adventure
After appeasing an endocrinologist worried about my suppressed TSH by a cunning lab trick -- withholding NDT for three days before going for the blood work -- I realized I needed to titrate up the dose. Many thanks to those who replied with their NDT experience. I cranked it up to nearly double what

STILL can't find my dose
Last time I posted, I was going up to 225mcg, when at 200mcg my tsh was already 0.04 and FT4 17(9-19). Biggest mistake I ever made. I ended up feeling worse than ever before on 225mcg after about 4 weeks on it. The most SEVERE bedridden fatigue one could experience and the worst brain fog ever. No

Getting diagnosed with diabetes with under active thyroid
I struggled for years to get diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My TSH was borderline and sothe endocrinologist would not prescribe Thyroxine. I had to go to a private doctor to get treatment. Eventually my GP accepted the diagnosis and I have treatment on the NHS. Now I think I have diabetes. My blood

Hello, I'm a 38-year-old male with Thyroid cancer (papillary carcinoma). I'm 174cm tall and weigh 152 lbs. I had surgery to remove the tumor and my thyroid about 3 months ago (end of February). On January 22 (before the surgery), my TSH was 3.59 mlU/L (range of 0.40 and 4.50), and my endocrinologist

Views on stim does - 75 iu Menopur - low?
Hi all, I know this is one really I have to trust my Dr on but can’t help but feeling a bit worried about! I’ve been told I have PCOS (45 AFC and latest AMH was 60), so I’m aware I’ll be on low dose stims. I mentioned to the Dr the plan was to aim for a few embryos (should we be so lucky!) as we will

Levo dose advice during IVF cycle - impact of HRT
