Levo dose advice during IVF cycle - impact of HRT
Hello again 🙂 I’m wondering if anyone has any insight on the impact of HRT on Levo - Estrogen & Progesterone specifically which are the medications given during a Frozen Embryo Transfer cycle. NICE says there is anecdotal evidence of a moderate interaction between the medications. The progesterone

Low AMH
How long did you wait between cycles?Did you see a decrease in eggs retrieved the next round? I've had a round in Jan which resulted in fresh transfer, nothing frozen but it didn't work. My AMH is 5pmol. I'm planning to jump straight back in but I'm not sure if the break would do me good, possibly

Taking LEVO. Should I stop eating goitrogenic vegetables?
I’ve just read about Goitrogenic foods and their effects on the thyroid. Do all of you that have Hypothyroidism and are “in the know” avoid these? I’ve been vegetarian (for many years) and my evening meal always consists of lots of vegetables, (including cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower etc), but I’

Feeling really low at the minute. Sorry this is a long one but just want to write it all down.
After Nstemi in March, I went back to work in April. Was feeling pretty good apart from a burning sensation in the chest area not quite every day. I am on the gold standard meds, apparently and the GP advised that my 3 months was up to and to stop clopidogrel on 14 June. Which I did. He increased my

Useless Endocrinology appointment
Hi everyone, So I had my Endocrinology appointment. She asked me if I took my dose of t3 before the test at 7am and I said no as she caught me off guard! She had slyly earlier in the appointment already asked me when I took my t3 dose (in the morning as one dose). Unfortunately the doctor is a TSH

Feeling symptomatic
Hello, I’ve on 125mcg of levo for about 2 years now and lately started to feel symptomatic again. Had bloods done last week and even though I requested full thyroid bloods they’ve only come back with the TSH which 2.55 (range 0.4-5). I’ve made an appointment with the doctor to discuss and ask for an

I’ve been pretty rubbish with compliance of my levothyroxine up until 12 months ago when I made a concerted effort to take every day. Since then I have had significant health problems but normal TSH and free T4. My symptoms have been allergic in nature with angioedema of the airway, hives and joint pain

Post Screen Numbers
Hi All, Ive just had my post screen results and found out I have 6.3 AMH which the nurse said was on the cusp of low at 6 AMH. If I'm honest I was really surprised at this and didn't expect it. I'm 33 and consider myself healthy, I know that has no bearing on egg reserve though. I wonder if anyone could

Thyroid autoantibodies/TPO test results
I have primary hyperparathyroid disease and very low vit D. I'm waiting for a surgical referral, and I am waiting to have localisation scans. My thyroid TSH and T4 are within normal ranges, but this antibody test result is 68.7 (normal range is 0-9). Is this high or very high, please, and has anyone

Some advice on new lab results please
I am a 40 year old woman and have been feeling very weird lately. I was wondering if I entered perimenopause so I had a blood draw on 21st day of my cycle. I think my progesterone is low? estradiol: 110 ng/L progesteron: 9.13 microgram/L LH: 11.7 U/L FSH: 7.9 U/L (I am not on HRT)

Levothyroxine brands
Can anyone advise on a brand of levo for sensitive people. I know what suits one might not suit another! In May 2022 I had my thyroid removed after years being overactive with goitre on Carbimazole. At one point my weight dropped to 50kgs and it took many months before it returned to within normal

Egg banks for anonymous eggs
We have been waiting for the egg retrieval of the second IVF cycle. Today's echo showed that we might cancel the cycle because I only have two follicles. It will be decided on Friday, but I don't think we have any chance to continue. My AMH is too low (0,7) thus we don't have more hopes about my eggs

are CTx numbers supposed to be extremely under range while on prolia?
is that the point of anti resorptive? is P1NP supposed to be upper range on prolia, or lower range on prolia? my Mum's numbers are low. but the tests haven't been done for years, i don't think, and they were run within 3 months of prolia doses, so the ctx would be expected to be low? and Mum's
