We are green for go go go!
They are going with ECX with husband having an overnight stay for the epirubicin and
cisplatin
, not because of the time it takes, but they want to make sure he has enough liquid inside him so it's easier via a drip.

Adrenal lesion
I did four cycles of
Cisplatin
/Vinorelbine adjuvent chemo which I finished in August. Right after that I had a CT scan and have only just got the results which have shown "a newly developed soft tissue lesion seen in the right adrenal gland measuring 15x11mm, metastsis cannot be excluded".

SSLC -Chemo with bad heart and an ICD
I was surprised when he said he wants her to have Chemotherapy (Etoposide and
Cisplatin
) as my Mum has a bad heart, thyroid problems, has an ICD fitted to her heart , her lungs are already pretty damaged and she’s very underweight from years of not looking after herself very well.

Palliative chemo - pemotrexid and cisplatin
My mum has been offered pemetrexid and
cisplatin
as palliative chemo and the oncologist said textbook prognosis is 6 months if left untreated and if she has chemo and the cancer responds it may give her another 3 months on top of that.

cisplatin and gemcitabine - hoping it gets better!
I've read some scary things about
cisplatin
on line (hearing loss, kidney damage etc) and just wondered if anyone has had much experience. I have my next round tomorrow and really am not sure I've recovered enough from last one to have it but will talk to nurses tomorrow.

Resolving bowel obstruction. Will it ever feel normal to eat again?
I've been hospitalised for 9 weeks whilst on caelyx and
cisplatin
to help resolve a small bowel obstruction. Doing well now but will it ever resolve completely- any positive stories to help me over the next few days and weeks- think it has all got to me today 😩

Emotions & side effects
Hi all I have stage 3 squamous lung cancer & am in the middle of my chemo regime which they have changed from
cisplatin
/gemcitabine to carbo platinum/gem as my heart now has an issue. I can cope with the sickness ok & am real tired. Is it normal to constantly burst into tears?

Adjuvent chemo
As there is node infection and the tumour is more than 40mm, the recommendation is that I now have four chemo treatments - one a month for four months - with
cisplatin
plus another drug.
