Home from VATS procedure.
Hi everyone! Had the thorasic surgery. Wedge resections from the 3 lobes on right. Had chest tube which really is miserable. Glad its over. Will have biopsy info by end of this week possibly. I can't lift anything,or get back wet,but would love to. :( A raised toilet seat is coming soon this afternoon

Other issues developing after RVATS over 2 yrs ago
I’ve been blessed to have clean scans 2 yrs after RVATS. No other cancer treatment has been required. However, in the last 6 months I have had 3 bouts of bronchitis. I was spirometer tested for COPD and pulmonologist says I’m negative for that. Was just lucky enough to not require steroids. I’m well

I found this herbal remedy, I just started using it but it has great reviews. It's called Nervefix by NaturalCare. Today is the 4th day I'm taking it, I did notice less pain and numbness already. I'm also taking Devil's Claw Extract the Vitamin Shoppe brand for inflammation and that seems to really

Langerhans of the lung MRI of the skull tomorrow hello bone health group.
Did my needs assessment. I have not posted on bone health. I am going for MRI of skull tomorrow to see if anything is wrong there too besides lungs. Its with and without contrast. I wonder if you drink the contrast or yet another injection. Just had bone scan done, oncologist nurse called to tell me it

Living with cellular NSIP
Hi. I was recently diagnosed with cellular NSIP. I was an active healthy 50 year old last October when I started getting short of breath and a constant cough. I thought it was pnemonia and so did the doctor. After 4 round of antibiotics I wasn't better so they started looking at other options. I had

BRCA-2, etc, in CRPC.
New paper below. Nalakrats quoted some statistics 4 months ago: "Latest statistical data from 2 studies, one said 1.2% of all Men with Prostate Cancer have this mutation. Another study indicted it was 2% of all Prostate Cancers---for those that carry the Mutated BRCA-2 Gene." That sounds about right

Answers to Organizing Pnuemonia
I recently was diagnosed with Organizing Pneumonia in April. I had an VATs Lung Biopsy and have been on steroids for 2 1/2 months. I don't feel better since they put me on steroids. If these don't work what do you think that might help?

Wk 1 r2 - first pre-breakfast run!
With my body still aching from my first run, I thought I would test myself and try out morning running... before breakfast! Eek! To be honest, it was only the thought of porridge, honey and banana that got me round... but I did it! I was quite pleased to find myself acclimatising to the running part
