I take 50 mg Flecainide am and pm and am taking Adizem 120 slow release in the evening. Does anyone else have a problem with increased need to visit the loo in the evening or night time? From about 6 pm in the evening I'm frequently going to the toilet, I go before I go to bed, then by midnight(ish

Diltiazem (Cardizem) and Tinnitus
I have read a couple of articles (in USA) linking tinnitus with taking the drug Diltiazem. It’s used to keep blood pressure down. my cardiologist, while not seeing anything concerning this, okayed to stop for awhile to see if it works. Anyone familiar with this? Wondering how long it would take

Blood Pressure Tablets
Hi - my GP prescribed Amlodipine 5mg one tablet per day for my high blood pressure. Only a couple of days later I saw my Consultant regarding my Afib who changed Amlodipine for Adizem 120mg once a day. I also take Flecainide 50mg twice a day for Afib. Does anyone else take Adizem and have any side

First time posting. Hello everyone. I was diagnosed with AF in October. It is present all the time - heart rate in 80’s and 90’s. I was aware my heart was racing & I felt tired & uncomfortable. I was immediately put on Apixaban & Bisoprolol. Having started medication my arms & legs became very heavy

Heart rate too high
I had a second ablation two weeks ago as I reverted to AF after 18 months from the first ablation. Everything was going well until a few days ago when my heart rate shot up to 113bpm. Phoned hospital who told me to take Adizem XL 240mg every day and sent a prescription to my pharmacy. Heart rate now

12th Trip to Resus with different outcome
Hi. I am new to this forum. I hope I can find some info about my ongoing heart problems experience. 5 years ago I had my 1st trip to Resus with a heart rate of 200bpm. I was given a bid single dose of amiodarone and HR dropped to normal fairly quickly. I then stayed in the cardiac unit for 4 days

What is CHAD score?
In the ER, they detected AFib and gave me
cardizem
intravenously. I spent the night in the hospital with a Holter monitor and no more episodes occurred. I was sent home with prescriptions for
cardizem
and eliquis. There have been no further episodes. I am a 69 year old female.
