Scared
I'm going today at 5.30pm to have
Cardioversion
to see if they can get the heart back in rhythm. As you can imagine I'm terrified of what the future holds and wondered if anyone had been in the same boat or could offer any advice? Thanks

Hello
I have been on the drug for a little over a month with a 15th
cardioversion
booked for next week should Amiodarone not convert me to NSR on its own. Any feedback regarding personal experiences with Amiodarone would be very much appreciated. Looking forward to being part of AF Association 😊!

A--FIB--AGAIN
Dr. put be back on a higher dose of Amaradrone and Eliquis 2 times a day. probably looking at another
Cardioversion
# [5] and probably a [3rd] Ablation. I am concerned with this last 5 yr. history as to how many times a person can go through the continued treatment.

Back in AF with high pulse
A year after a
cardioversion
I am back in AF with a high pulse. In between I have had the occasion flutter which Flecainide has seen of. I felt happy, healthy, fit, contented a feeling I'd had for several months.

New here
In may this year I had two very frightening episodes which I now know were because of an atrial flutter, since those episodes I've felt awful, I finally got an appointment with my cardiologist on the 8th June who diagnosed the flutter, I'm now on 5mg of bisoprolol and warfarin as I await a

Stopping Flecainide after cardioversion
Does anybody have experience of being able to stay AF free long term after a successful drug assisted

New Here- AF and Stress
Anyone share experience of low pulse (45bpm) AF and subsequent stress/anxiety from symptoms? How to cope? Had 2 failed ablations and cardioversions in past 3 years and now have permanent AF. I'm not on drugs except for high BP and anticoagulation (NOAC)

Hi, I'm new here
I was in permanent a fib for over 3 years before being given a
cardioversion
. Dr told me chance of success was doubtful since I was in a fib so long, but I did get 3 cardios which only gave me a few hours of relief.

From Metoprolol to Multaq...
The last
cardioversion
was done one month ago and I am back in afib. The cardiologist took me off Metoprolol and put me on Multaq 400mg twice a day. I have been taking Multaq for 4 days, still in afib. Should I wait awhile? Should I revert to taking Metoprolol but 100-150mg daily?

I CAN'T KEEP QUIET ANY LONGER!!
I had been in AF for a couple of weeks when I went to him and was actually awaiting a date for a
cardioversion
. Well 10 days after the extraction my heart went back into normal sinus rhythm on it's own and has been that way ever since, that's 10 weeks!

Discharged by EP, but puzzled.
Dear All, 3 weeks ago, I had a DC
cardioversion
(first time). I was fine for about 3 hours - sinus rhythm - and was allowed to go home. However, in the taxi, my heart began jumping all over the place, and I had a bad night.

Amioderone or not?
Or should I try insist on
cardioversion
without it? Or do nothing till September? It's just that I feel I always fall on the wrong side of the statistics. Not even feeling that optimistic about 2nd ablation to be honest.
