I had my first ablation 1 month ago. I have had 2 cardioversions since. I have had 10 days of fair health. I am back at work. I have severe right leg pain, foot and knee but some shooting pain up my inner thigh. I am booked in for my second ablation in 1 month. I can only hope it gets better.

Hi I am new to the forum
Hi Ann , I am post ablation 1 month as well. Sorry to hear this . Hope you don't mind me asking? Why do you have to have another ablation? And isn't it normal to have problems up until 3 months later. Sorry for asking so many questions as I am having a bit of a time with skipped beats at the moment myself and it's my first ablation so panicking about it not working. Hope your ok
Best wishes

sorry to hear this Ann- hope he next one goes well
Sam you are right and it will take some time for your heart to settle down
Ann's doctors will have seen what the situation with her heart was when they ablated her and probably knew a little more was needed,
Sam72, I am 2 months post ablation, and I also have the skipped beats. I was told they are normal during the 3 month period after the ablation. I also get unnerved when they occur! It is a waiting game, for sure. Hang in there.
Have had 3 ablations and 20 conversions. Md wants to put me on Amidrone currentlt on Tykosin. Donot want tp take the Amiodrone too many side effects
Thank you to all of your replies. It is wonderful to know that I am not alone. It has really lifted my spirits.
