Carbomer

I've been prescribed Clinitas Carbomer eye gel, Ikervis eye drops and Hylo-tear drops for around 4 years now. Everytime I am seen by opthalmology, they ask me if I want to try punctal plugs as my eyes are so sore and dry despite the meds.

I thought I'd mention in case it helps someone else - in the UK these are Viscotears 2mg/g Carbomer (apparently you can buy them so I'm off to find out where).

The ophthalmologist gave me carbomer eye gel to use before I go to bed and told me to continue using Hylo-Forte during the day. What I forgot to ask was whether this was a temporary measure or should I be using carbomer gel long term.

I’m on Monopost and Carbomer eyegel, but the pressure is still 20. What shall I do? I see Double and black rings from time to time. Anybody else with pseudoexfoliation?

The optician recommended I tell my doctor to prescribe either Hylo Forte eye drops or Carbomer Gel. I'm just about to contact my doctor but rather than say "either this or that" I thought I'd ask you first.

The product is called China-Gel and has a good list of natural pain relievers in it such as Camphor 3% Menthol 5% Inactive Ingredients Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Angelica Archangelica Root Extract, Carbomer, Hamamelis virginiana ( Witch Hazel ) Extract, Imidazolinyl Urea, Lavandula Hybrida abrialis

The Gel I use is “Carbomer Eye Gel” my doctor has supplied it but it’s so cheap on Amazon I buy 10 at a time. I hope this finds you. 3buoys

I’ve been using carbomer eye gel and hycosan extra with little relief. Also using heated eye mask at night. Really hoping these drops give me a little relief, my eyes are bone dry

Having requested this from my doctor he has actually given me Carbomer '980' 0.2% eye drops. Having looked on patient.info website it says that they are the same gel. I just wanted to confirm if this was the case or whether there are any other ingredients in the artelac which would be beneficial.
