CLL husband just tested positive - now what?
Paxlovid is working like a charm for people we know who've taken it, but since my husband is on
Calquence
it would be great to avoid having to stop and start the BTK-inhibitor. And it seems like any treatment needs to happen ASAP after testing positive.

Skin rash
I have been on
Calquence
for about two months. Came down with a rash on my body. It itches a lot. My oncologist stopped the medication and put me on Benadryl . Has anyone experienced this and how long before the rash disappeared?

Does every treatment have a price?
Various tests left
Calquence
as the only possible “culprit”. Did anyone of you on
Calquence
experience similar issues?

Venetoclax and calquence combo for Cll
Anyone have experience with V and
Calquence
together? My husband has been on
calquence
4 months but Haemotolgist states his bone marrow still 80 to 90% full of cancerous lymphocytes. Doc wants V and R but husband has had no issues with
Calquence
and would prefer to stay on it along with Venetoclax.

CoPay Assistance from LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) USA
I just started taking Acalabrutinib /
Calquence
one week ago and the $2500 per month that my Medicare Part D does not pay is being covered by assistance from the LLS. And my 2020 tax return AGI Gross was well above what I thought any of the charitable agencies would approve.

Treatment advice after calquence fails? Pain relief advice?
The acalabrutinib (
calquence
) was like a miracle!! After thinking we were losing her she was well again. Then suddenly on 3rd Jan this year she noticed the lump in her neck swelling again and she is now bed ridden in so much pain and awaiting an urgent ct scan and biopsy of the neck lump.

Advantage of Acalabrutinib over Ibrutinib?
Doc may want my husband to change to

MABs - Encouraging, but not really
Has anyone taking
Calquence
received a MAB infusion? Waiting to hear from my Dr to confirm it’s safe and doesn’t cause any drug interactions. Seems unlikely, but I want to be certain. 2.

MY JOURNEY: COVID, EVUSHELD, PAXLOVID and CLL
Started a clinical trial of Acalabrutinib (
Calquence
) in July, 2016 at NIH. Despite complex karyotype (no 17P or TP53), unmutated, Notch, Zap70, biclonal, etc., I achieved MRD Undetectable in both bone marrow and peripheral blood in July 2017. I am a lucky and rare bird!

Calquence and chills
I have been on
Calquence
for 6 month (previously on Imbruvica for 3.5 years). I frequently get chilled late in the afternoon. Last evening I was really chilled from hands to the toes. Does anyone else experience such chills?
