Other treatments we are particularly interested in include cabozantinib, afinitor, and Trodelvy. We're hoping to speak to some patients who have first-hand experience with an expensive cancer treatment that turned out to be disappointing.

Hi everyone, Dad has been informed he may be potentially eligible for a trial involving cabozantinib and atezolizumab. Has anybody had any dealings with this and if so, did it seem effective? Many thanks as always!

We've been offered two options: 1. a trial of atezolizumab + cabozantinib - an immunotherapy treatment that seems to be promising in Breast Cancer. But, if he is put into the control group, he'd receive enzalutamide (another ADT drug). 2.

Update on my dad, he continues on the above combo treatment. His PSA keeps decreasing and his liver tumors keep shrinking. Very hopeful, it’s now been a one year that his liver was invaded by the prostate cancer.

The Mayo Clinic has accepted me to get either cabozantinib (XL184) alone or in combination with atezolizumab (immunotherapy). Cabozantinib is an oral agent which is great and is FDA approved for medullary thyroid cancer. This is a phase 2 study.

I’ve been on a clinical trial of a combo of Cabozantinib and Atezolizumab for three months now. It’s a combination of pill and infusion. My Mets that involve my lungs, liver and lymph nodes are staying in check. But my PSA climbs 20 spots every three weeks of my treatment.

I would like to know if someone from the community experimented with cabozantinib, they told me that it is a practically new drug. If so, what side effects did they experience? Would they be similar to those of sunitinib or pazopanib? Thank you all!
