I consider myself lucky
On
bumex
2 mg, I lost that 100 pounds in about 8 weeks. Now 21/2 years my GP and Cardio Dr. both tell me after 9 ECG and seeing one of them every 4 months. I never have had or can they find. My A Fib. Seems all that fluid caused a lot of problems.

Meanwhile I just started on
Bumex
to drain off the fluid from my belly. My Metoprolol was changed to Propanolol as it is supposed to help the esophageal varices that were banded. It's giving me orthostatic hypotension. I have NIDD, Hgb A1c is 8. And I have a history of high blood pressure!

Restrictive lung disease and copd.
I'm taking 2 mg
bumex
in the morning and 4 mg in the afternoon. Still caring about 40 lbs of water. They have now put me with palliative care. They are nice and monitor my meds once a month here at my house. They say I'm a fighter and won't give up but my body is.
