recently diagnosed after pregnancy, lots of questions!
i had my daughter 8 months ago and lost weight rapidly after she was born, then after a few months started to gain, although i had huge sugar cravings for no apparent reason..i put it all down to
breastfeeding
, along with the tiredness, apathy etc..or is it possible i had it underlying before?

Still not sinking in I'm a mummy!
So Thursday 27th June came round and I had a
breastfeeding
workshop and had arranged a final meal out with the girls before baby arrives! I went to the class which was great! Learned a lot and got some great tips.

Has my immune system decided to give up the ghost?
Not
breastfeeding
, never been pregnant, off to the doc for an emergency appointment and diagnosed mastitis. I have felt run down for quite a while and put it down to moving to an open plan office and all it's germs (shudder!)

Anyone have experience of taking 100mg thyroxine when clinically euthyroid as a long term nodule preventative after a partial thyroidectomy?
Additionally I'm
breastfeeding
a tiny baby (8 wks) and wouldn't want to mess my milk supply.

Anyone else on Femulen? I am not a happy bunny...
Hi all, I got a real period 7 weeks after having baby (hadn't started using any contraception at this point), a week later I had my 8-week check up with the GP and she prescribed the progesterone-only mini pill as I am partly
breastfeeding
and said I could start it any day of my cycle...

My mum is a Lactation Consultant and has been really been pressurising me to make sure I breastfeed.
I'm only 14 weeks pregnant, have been doing a lot of research and I do understand and appreciate all the benefits of
breastfeeding
. However, I want to keep an open mind and know the options are there for me to bottlefeed if necessary.

Stopping Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding
is a funny thing. Whatever I say here will be judged, whether I'm pro
breastfeeding
or bottle feeding.

Nursing Bras - sizes?
I'm planning on
breastfeeding
and I'm looking at getting a few good nursing bras but I'm not sure what size to get. I know that boobs will get bigger when milk comes in, but how much? I'm already 34HH and there aren't many places that stock nursing bra's in that size range.

NHS Choices - Could a mother's lack of iodine harm her child's IQ?
Pregnant or
breastfeeding
women who are unable or unwilling to eat these types of iodine-rich dietary sources may need supplements. If you are pregnant or
breastfeeding
and are concerned about your iodine levels, speak to your GP or midwife before taking supplements.

Husbands suffer too
but she'd have to stop
breastfeeding
and she didn't want to, however, we did decide then that we would start supplementing in the evenings so she can stay asleep. Saturday evening she had a benadryl to help her sleep, and she did for 10 hours and was good in the AM. Then Sunday afternoon came.

Had my last 2 by c.section, tried the

Does anyone else feel like they're a huge burden after suffering from VM? Also, struggling to look after young children after this illness?
I had to stop
breastfeeding
, as I didn't have the strength, and have spent far more time apart from him than I did when my daughter was a baby. I feel like I should be stronger for him, but I just can't be!
