Follow up on haematologist appointment for sharp rise in lymphocytes.
Hello everybody hope you are all well, my visit to the haematologist today didn't go the way I was hoping, he says the sudden increase in my lymphocytes is caused by the CLL and not the cortisone, so I have to go back onto treatment,
Bendamustine
and Rituxan, it will take a couple of weeks to motivate

Gazyva and Bendamustine
Hi, curious to know how your experience was on this drug combination was. Doc is recommending this as my second line treatment after I had Gazyva only in late 2016 for my Marginal zone lymphoma.

Deciding on CLL Therapy and When to Treat- ONCLive Video discussion Drs. Wierda, Lamanna, Ma, Davids, Coutre
And some people may still want to give
bendamustine
and rituximab in select patients. So, it sort of depends. But at least we have information to allow us to make choices. William G.

My new CLL Treatment
My oncologist is recommending a drip of Rituxan and
Bendamustine
for my CLL treatment to replace Imbruvica since I had heart issues with this drug. Is anyone else getting this treatment? If so, any serious side effects?

Imbruvica and Heart Issues
I now have to make the decision as to whether continue Imbruvica or try a more potent chemo drip for my CLL like Rituxan, or a combination of Rituxan with
Bendamustine
, which have a long list of other side effects. Any advice?

Therapeutic Massage
Had Rituxan/
Bendamustine
#5 over two weeks ago and suffering with hip and leg stiffness and numbness Also involving the hands. Has anyone tried therapeutic massage and/or Acupunture? If yes, did you first get approval from your oncologist? If yes, did the massage give relief?

Update re visit to Moffit in Tampa to see my Hematologist
Based on my markers I have 3 choices: Number One:
Bendamustine
with Rituxan........Number Two: Ibrutinib...Number Three: Gazyva. Numbers One and Three would be twice a month for 6 months while Number Two would be a pill every day for the rest of my life.

Here it is. Times piece today on CLL and access to drugs. Skip dumb comments....
Not the drugs I had first time round, which most doctors think are too toxic to be used twice, but a less effective combination (including
bendamustine
, a derivative of mustard gas) that is likely to make me more susceptible to infections and will probably work for two years or less and leave me less

First time post!
She talked to us about 2 types of treatment Ibrutinib or a combo of Rituximab/
Bendamustine
. Waiting on results from the BM test. Trying to read up on them, what are some of the markers from his tests that I need to look for? I know she said he was unmutated IGVH.

What is the best first-line treatment combination for CLL?
Bendamustine
(B) is allowable only if FCR is not suitable. None of the newer small molecules are allowed as first line options in England by NICE unless you have 17p/TP53.

First Day Of Rituxan and Bendamustine
I return for balance of
bendamustine
today, and go Wednesday for platelets and Neulasta. I was seriously afraid of side effects, and then. so far, had none. Don't know whether keto helped, but have to believe it did, as I had 2 stents put in iliac arteries the week prior.

2nd Day of Bendamustain
Finished 2nd day of
Bendamustine
yesterday after first day of Rituxan/Bnedamustine Monday. No side effects whatsoever other than short term wooziness for an hour. Today I get platelets and Nuelesta and I will report any side effects. I will take Claritin in advance for expected bone pain.

Bendamustine
Has anyone who took
Bendamustine
have their lymphocytes rise at first cycle instead of begin dropping? Also it is a little red at the vein they used to infuse me.
