Baricitinib.
Also, have had an outbreak of shingles this past week, which is a known side effect of
Baricitinib
. So
Baricitinib
hasn’t improved things.

Baricitinib (Olumiant) / high LFT’s
I’ve been on this for about 2 months now and was doing really well but now my liver function tests are elevated and I’ve been told to stop taking it. Flaring already 😞 ... anyone else had this ? x

Etanercept v Baricitinib?
Next step for me following unsuccessful ĎMARDS or intolerance is one of the above as my RA has been out of control since diagnosis in early 2017. Never thought i'd be 18months down the road, retired on ill health grounds and still trying to find something that helps! I've asked cons to give me few weeks

Sore not healing
The larger pustules have always been slow to heal but following a 3 month course of antibiotics, which did ease things for a while, and starting a new med -
baricitinib
, they seem to be taking even longer.

Both of us at the hospital this morning.
I am having my drugs changed Olumiant(
baricitinib
) i have to stop the hydroxy and sulpha. He has given me steroids to see me through until i go back in a month. He was brilliant with me. Hubby had a colonoscopy which though they went in he wasn't cleared out enough.

Baricitinib and Low Dose Naltrexone
Hello Has anyone taken
Baricitinib
and if so, has it worked? After being hospitalised for an infection due to using Cimzia for 5 years, I have been given the choice of having Rituximab or
Baricitinib
, and thinking of favouring
Baricitinib
as it is not a biological drug.

Pain medication/ help
I am now into week 3 of Olumiant/
Baricitinib
but so far have not had any let up in symptoms. The pain is becoming increasingly unbearable. I was taking co-codamol 30/500 but recently switched to tramadol and neither really help. They take a slight edge off.

Baricitinib
Hi Everyone, been to see my wizard today and he has suggested I try a new drug
baricitinib
. I haven't heard of it and wonder if anyone has taken it. It's a once a day tablet and this will free me of the once a month infusion of tocilizumab. The Toci injections didn't work for me.

Possible issues with Baricitinib?
Currently on my third week of this med and have started getting prolonged dull headaches and the occasional sore throat. On top of that I've just started to get a bit of toothache, which could be an infection, something I'm prone to hence my concern. I used have the odd sore throat when I was on methotrexate

Update and new biologic is TOFACITINIB
I shared with you all that I was off
Baricitinib
due to white blood cell count being too low. My Neutrophil was at 0.3 (normal is >1.5) I had to stop that biologic immediately. I had another test 3 days after stopping this biologic and my Neutrophil increased to 2, happy days.

Baricitinib again!...
Even more of a worry, according to my chest consultant, is there's a possibility that
baricitinib
could further deteriorate my already RA damaged lungs.

Update, no more Baricitinib for me
Hi all, just wanted to let you know after 6 days on this medication my consultant called to say STOP. My white blood cells are now lower than low 😐yikes. He said if I get a fever, mouth sores or ulcers to go to the hospital 😬. Next steps, he is looking into another medication. So here we go again

confused after ultrasound results and now really worried!
My hosp cons is changing my biological to
Baricitinib
. I’ve had an ultrasound today of my hands, wrists, elbows, knees, feet and ankles. Now I’ve been really struggling with pain and mobility, especially in both knees.
