Three weeks after ablation 2
I hardly dare write this but I have now had 3 afib free weeks for the first time in 2 years. I am trying really hard to relax and be really careful with overdoing it but I feel great! I do have more ectopics ( maybe 1 or 2 every 5 mins than I remember but I think I am super “ heart aware” So after

2 weeks and 2 days- unbearable
My 4 th night of no sleep and can feel myself getting more and more down in the dumps. I’m not expecting miracles, I’m not being impatient and am doing everything to take my mind off it, but here I am 2 weeks after my ablation with a heart rate of 144 which had been ongoing since Saturday. Back in touch

Radio frequency ablation for atrial fibrillation/complex atrial tachycardia
I have written earlier and I know I did receive some replies and especially one from BobD but can’t find them (useless at technology). I have just received a letter from Royal Brompton & Harefield hospital relating to the above, but although I know my EP told me that as this was very risky he couldn’

CBH and A.Fib
I am reasonably new and haven't posted before, but interested to know if anyone has been treated with Hemp Oil whilst taking anticoagulants.. I also have an inflammatory condition which I know it would help with the pain. Interested to know your experience. Thank you

Back in AFIB after 2 years free
Hello there! It’s been 1 hour since the bell rang! I’m back in AFIB after a little bit 2 years free. To be honest I was pretty sure this day will come but I was hoping he comes later. I turn 25 2 months ago and was almost forgetting what AFIB means? For now I am at home, I try to be as calm as possible

I've been on Metoprolol for about three years now (low dose, half a pill morning and night). Can I wean off of it? If so, how?
I have had Afib, once recently that I was able to reset holding my breath. I'm not on a blood thinner. I'd like to see if it can be managed without the meds. I'm 66 and otherwise healthy. I had a some high blood pressure but cut almost all salt out and got that under control. I'd like to use supplements

AF Story
Hi everyone, I thought I'd share my story so far to help anyone who is having a difficult time with similar issues. I'm 36 years old, male, 6ft and 13 stone with a slim and athletic build. I've always enjoyed all sports including cycling and running. I don't smoke but do enjoy a few beers at weekends

Pacemaker question
Met with my cardiologist last night. I had a very good day heart wise yesterday with no ectopics at all. That is very unusual for me. I had a severe afib event on Monday and had taken the maximum 300mg dosage. My cardio advised that the flec would probably been out of my system by yesterday. I was fitted

AF is back.
Until yesterday I had only had two episodes of PAF this year, in Jan and July. I had convinced myself that I could control the PAF with things like diet and exercise, and that since the number of episodes this year were fewer than last year, things were looking fairly good. Bart’s discharged me from

New here
Hi I am new to the group and going through a hard time at the moment. Was diagnosed with paroxysmal A Fib 18 months ago and through working with aFunctional Medicine doctor, got a break of 8-10 months. But then it slowly crept back. Once a week, always at night, until it was every night. My Fleccainide

Stomach ulcer?
Has anyone else here developed a stomach ulcer after taking warfarin or any other anticoagulant long term? I have a suspected ulcer, and I'm wondering how it can heal while still taking warfarin, which it seems can be a cause of ulcers.

4 YEARS POST ABLATION and some weird info...
I can hardly believe that it is 5 years since I joined this group. I don't visit often since my ablation almost 4 years ago. I had so much help from people in this group and today I see that Bob is still helping people... I see CDreamer is here helping too. God bless you all. I am fine after my ablation

LSD - afib and stress !
Hi everyone. I should have been a reporter for the New's of the World with that headline ;-) Still it might get your attention. I read on another thread about 'LSD' and afib - may have been FJ but I can't remember for sure. However the LSD bit stuck in my mind. It's very easy to remember. It works too

After an ablation
I have read the article on Recovering from an ablation’. had my ablation 3 weeks ago and it seems to go ok. I have been breathless at times but then went into AF for 3 days last week. Now back in sinus rhythm and seeing my EP tomorrow. I’m not on any medication at the moment to stop AF. I do get very
