from undetectable to 0.02
I have been undetectable for 3.25 years and today it came back at 0.02. My bio is up to date. We ran the test at the exact same lab as always and in 2 days I am flying back to my Sarasota home from Milwaukee and was wondering which lab is recommended for 2 digit accuracy? I know Labcorp only does 1

Aspirin trials
I have recently finished hormone therapy, last 3 monthly injection April 2023. Good result so far with PSA at <0.01. Met with my Oncologist today and he said there were trials using aspirin as a potential drug to reduce potential recurrence. Has anyone come across this and, even though the results

Abiraterone SE when added to Lupron?
I am a PSA =2, low volume, oligometastic HSPC. I got my first Lupron shot 4 weeks ago. I started to get a couple hot flashes per day in the last week from the Lupron and of course I expect fatigue to kick in over the next six weeks. What additional side effects might I expect by adding the abiraterone

Finished 8 Rounds of Docetaxel
Hi Fellow Warriors, Four weeks ago I finished up 8 rounds of Docetaxel. This year has been a medical shit show: 2 UTIs, pneumonia, Covid, sepsis, sinus infection which became chronic sinusitis, numerous falls with the last fall resulting in a dislocated hip. The good news! Before starting Docetaxel

Tumor Mutation Burden
Last genetic test has shwon TMB 10.86 and the orevious one (in March, 2023) showed the value of 8.68. Will increased TMB require the addition of PARP inhibitors to my current therapy consisting of Loupron and Abiraterone? Anyone has similar experience? My history can be seen under bio. Just to add that

ART NIH Predicting the Outcome of Salvage Radiation Therapy for Recurrent Prostate Cancer After Radical Prostatectomy
Summary: Patients in this audience have had both radical prostatectomies (RP) and salvage radiation treatment (sRT) and want to know their chances of having recurrent prostate cancer. This study developed a predictive model called a nomogram that predicts the 6-year progression-free probability (PFP

When Should I Be Concerned About My PSA
Hello, all. In early 2020, I was treated with a combination of six months of bicalutamide 50mg, and HDR-BT. Because of COVID-19, I had to wait a year before I had my 1st. PSA after treatment. I've had a few bounces and even though I was told PSA bounces were to be expected, it's been about three years

PSA still low but cancer progressing
I've been on ADT plus Xtandi for about a year (see my profile) and my PSA has steadily reduced and stayed low. However, my latest CT scan shows that the tumours on my bones and lymph nodes are increasing in size and there are now a few small lesions appearing in my liver for the first time. Not the news

Whole pelvic radiation after testicular cancer?
My husband is 63, dx Oct/2022 with PSA of ~11 and all twelve cores positive with GL 8 and mostly 9’s (4+5). He had SVI, PNI, and probable ECE, but PSMA PET showed no spread. He’s being treated at UCHealth/Denver CO at their urologic cancer center. His treatment consisted of 39 radiation sessions +

Just feeling down
Hi Group, To get to it, my PSA recently jumped back up about 60%. It’s now over 1600 after lowering to around 1000. . I’m just learning to manage radiation side effects - to the extent I can - and trying to move back into some “normal” or at least semi-stable state. Then last night my partner admitted

My scans showed spread but......
My scans showed no spread but Sept 1 my right nipple became very sensitive and a 2" diameter hardness formed around it. I applied Clio twice a day and today the hardened area is the size of a dime. The Clio I use is 5-chloro-7-iodoquinolin-8-ol). U of Maryland is the best source of cancer research that

Newly diagnosed
Hi everyone. I was recently diagnosed with non metastatic, but aggressive pc. My psa in March of this year was 8.2 and then 10.1 four months later, so rising quickly. Biopsy was done at end of August, which showed significant tumor development on the right side and a Gleason score of 4,5 or 5,4 in half

Gleason 6, 1 Yr AS, now Gleason 3+4
Hi, I'm 65, fit, active. , 2 yrs ago noticed PSA doubled to 2.4, last yr 3.5 so had MRI and urine exosome test, "liquid biopsy". Range is 1-100, less than 15 and you are ok, o/w suggest a biopsy. Mine was 48. Oh, the 3 markers in this test are for more aggressive disease. BTW MRI only showed diffuse
