breathless increasing in AF what to do? I am Calli111
I was diagnosed with AF last August and although they started me on
Amiodarone
with a view to cardioversion I could not tolerate it. Nor could I tolerate beta blockers, ACE inhibitors or any of the other drugs they tried me on.

Next steps in managing AF...
I am now to be taken off
Amiodarone
(thank goodness) and given a different anti-arrhythmic in the next week or so. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what might be suggested, any questions I should ask and whether I should continue to be anti-coagulated?

Problems with medication.
I also suffer with asthma I have tried
Amiodarone
which I could not tolerate, Bisporol made me wheeze so that was stopped. I'm now on Diltiazem and my asthma started to play up!! Anyone else have these problems and how was they sorted. My anxiety is through the roof with all this. Thank you.😃

Rate vs Rhythm for Post-op AF: Neutral Trial, Positive Message
If you were intolerant of
amiodarone
, did not complete the therapy because we stopped it, and switched to rate control, it wasn't a complete crossover because you still have the
amiodarone
on board. Dr Mandrola: Was there crossover in both groups? Dr Gillinov: Yes.

AF returns after 2 years
Due to my HR being relatively low they didnt think
amiodarone
would be appropriate but gave me instead an increased dose of flecanide 30 mins later, during a routine BP check my ECG flatlined to zero ( i could feel my vision clouding) then immediately reverted to sinus rhythm at my usual resting HR.

Ventolin
I've been prescribed ventolin but on reading the leaflet it says there can be an interaction while taking
Amiodarone
(I'm also on Bi soprolol and Warfarin). I rang the pharmacy and was told nothing was flagged up. Does anyone here take both
Amiodarone
and Ventolin? Thanks

AF and breathlessness
He ask for me to be put on
Amiodarone
with a view to having this done. I was unable to tolerate this drug due to the breathlessness it left me with after two days and I stopped it.

for what it's worth
I was put on
amiodarone
for a few months. I was not happy about the side-effects and the doctor took me off it and put me onto other medications to get my heartbeat down.

AF seems to have settled down. No more problems
I was diagnosed with AF about two years ago and was given
amiodarone
and a lot of other medicine.. None of which helped very much. And I had long periods of leaving me out of breath. I I then read on the Internet that losing weight and getting back to normal weight could reduce AF by 65%.

A positive note
A week later he was put on
Amiodarone
which put him back into sinus and kept him there. The cardiologist advised him to come off
Amiodarone
and the other drugs, leaving him only on the anti-coagulant. He was put on the waiting list for an ablation. So thats his history....and I'll come clean.

What should I do.
I was given Xarelto, bisoprolol and and
amiodarone
. I felt much worse on these - not sleeping well at night, tired and even more out of breath and the bisoprolol was reduced to 1.25 rather than 2.5. I had a cardioversion in December which lasted June 2015 when I saw the cardiologue again.

Amiodarone hydrochloride
I wasn't able to go to this consultation but I'm worry they haven't told her everything because this seem a bit OTT (especially with the
amiodarone
side effects) do you think there are new syptoms does anyone have experience with
amiodarone
? Thank you
