Is nmCRPC potentially curable?
I am receiving
ADT
with early chemotherapy. I was diagnosed polymetastic but now after 5.5 years I am still on Firmagon injections only and my prostate developed a CRPC.

happy holidays …. And a quick update
Hard to say whether just
ADT
plus Nubeqa would’ve given the same result, but so far I’m grateful for the triplet therapy, including the chemo and SBRT. Embark studies and results seem to confirm intensification for situations like mine.

After ADT
Dear fellows, see my post "Adjuvant
ADT
". My question there was what to expect after completion of 24 months of
ADT
(22 june 2023). Now we are six weeks later and first results are in. PSA remained <0.1, whereas my T. rose from <0.4 to 0.9. Coming thursday I am seeing my oncologist/radiotherapist.

One month of Orgovyx completed
Just a quick update for those Brothers on, or considering
ADT
with, Orgovyx. Today I started the second month of my 6 month sentence. As of today I have had virtually no side effects. I purposely lost 8 pounds prior to going on it, and today the scale says I am down another pound.

Simultaneous vs Sequential Rad and ADT
It could be that the synergy seen is only apparent; that it's a statistical artifact caused by the 30% of the men who get short term
ADT
never getting their TET back. Meaning, the 30% of men who get short term
ADT
are, in effect, actually getting long term
ADT
because their TET never recovers.

I want to try SARM's-Yes or No?
I asked my MO about BAT and I've had two cycles of getting a month off
ADT
and receiving an injection of testosterone the month off of
ADT
before restarting
ADT
. I've read some positive reviews on this site about Ostarine.

PSA 6 months after RT
They looked at over 10,000 patients over a period of 10 years, and found that if your 6-month PSA is 0.1, then you might need to intensify the
ADT
treatment (longer course and/or adding extra drugs).

Question in Preparation for pBAT
With Eligard
ADT
in the background, my pBAT program calls for 8 injections of T propionate eod at a dosage of 50 mg. That dosage is expected to yield peak total T of about 2,000 ng/dL.

Revised Plot of PSA vs Testosterone: Estrogen vs Lupron ADT
This linear regime is the basis for why
ADT
works so well for castrate-sensitive Prostate Cancer patients.

castration after 7 years of ADT
I have been on Zoladex for nearly 7 years and am fully over any regrets of Chemical castration. My psa is now slowly rising and ghastly taken 2 years from undetectable to 0.65. I am considering surgical castration now as it would mean no more 3 monthly Zoladex injections and a reduced chemical load on

Protecting our Manhood
From what I know,
ADT
, once it gets going, will physically affect our family jewels. Shrinkage is one of the things that is likely to happen. What is the best way to try and reduce these effects? I see that some suggest Vacuum pumps, but do they really work?

I am livid, confused , worried and scared as hell that my ORGOVYX -ADT symptoms are mine for life.
what is the difference of being on
-Orgovyx for life and having the exact same symptoms off the drug but caused by the low testosterone you acquired off the drug and by taking the drug.

ADT before Surgery?
I have a prostatectomy which is probably 6-8 weeks in my future. My outlook is that metastasis in imminent. (T3bM0n0 and no evidence of cancer outside the gland as of May 25 PSMA PET scan, but I am told I am intermediate/unfavorable and my PSA went from 10 to 12 in only a month.) Today is August 18.

My journey thus far
I was leaning toward radiation but the 2 years of
ADT
and those side effects are really a deterrent now that I know more. I have spoken to two friends of friends who have had RALP surgery in the last 2-3 years with very positive outcomes (said they would do the same again).
