Heart rate too high
Phoned hospital who told me to take
Adizem
XL 240mg every day and sent a prescription to my pharmacy. Heart rate now down to between 80 and 90 which is still too high. Looking at the leaflet
Adizem
does not claim to reduce heart rate.

12th Trip to Resus with different outcome
I left with different tablets
Adizem
XL 240mg. Haven't been able to take those yet as I woke up after a night in my own bed with very odd feeling in my chest. Put pulse ox on finger and my heart is all over the place. Not fast as is usual but all over the place.

Flecainide and heart rate
Based on your experience does Flecainide (Tambocor) raise heart rate. My cardiologist has recently put me on 90 mg of Dilzem twice a day and 50 mg of Tambocor twice a day. I was hoping this combo may help my heart rate to go down to the sixties. Instead my heart rate is now in the sventies and eighties

Taking Flecainide even when in Permanent Afib
Am in permanent Afib since feb 2021 and after taking my second dose of pfizer vaccine. Am on 2X90 mg Dilzem and 2,5 mg Nebilt/day. MY HR is 70-73 BPM 38% of the time, 66-69 BPM 33% of the time, 74-79 BPM 19% of the time and 62-65 BPM 2% of the time. To improve these results , I suggested to stop Nebilet

What is CHAD score?
2 months ago, I fainted 3 times in one day - 2 at home and the third time in the hospital lobby after being discharged from the ER. In the ER, they detected AFib and gave me cardizem intravenously. I spent the night in the hospital with a Holter monitor and no more episodes occurred. I was sent home

Hi I’m new, does anyone suffer from really low heart rate when not in AF?
I have been having AF off and on for the last three years. Over this last year it has increased in frequency. I am having it at least once a week, it usually lasts between 2 to 4 hours.I usually auto convert on my own, thank god.I have an iwatch which has been really helpful in keeping tabs on my EKG

Ectopic Snowball Effect
Hi, I've been reading here for a couple of years but this is my first post. I found the forum when, almost 2 years ago, I suddenly had a lot of ectopic heartbeats. I was in the shower and stressed out and they just suddenly started. I was having stomach pain at the time (stress) and after a couple

Metoprolol and hair loss.
This may not be relevant to anyone reading this but I had an experience about 3 mo. ago concerning metoprolol. I had taken for my heart for over 2 years. I began losing my hair at an alarming rate. My cardiologist said to stop the metoprolol and begin Cardizem CD. The hair loss has moderated but

Changing beta blocker
I spoke with a different consultant today for a second opinion and he suggested that I could have Vagal AF and has suggested changing from bisoprolol to something like
adizem
. Has anyone experienced a similar situation. Thanks
