Anxious
Hello I am new to this site, after all the usual tests and scans I was recently diagnosed with
adenocarcinoma
, when I was given the diagnosis I was told it had not spread so I can have surgery and an appointment for two days later with the thoracic surgeon was given to me.

New Girl Here!
Hello, I have NSCLC
Adenocarcinoma
of the right lower lobe. Lobectomy was July 12, 2016. Was wondering why do I still have numbing burning pain? I can barely touch my right breast, the pain continues to the middle of my back. Is the normal? If so how long before this feeling is gone?

Endometrioid adenocarcinoma?
Histology suggested (not 100% conclusive) endometrioid
adenocarcinoma
. Advice was hysterectomy with removal of omentum and other ovary and lymph nodes. I refused to have lymph nodes removed and sought 2nd opinion. 2nd surgeon happy to leave lymph nodes as scan completely clear as is blood test.

New Diagnosis!!
Hi People, Although pre op and initially post op I was diagnosed with OC it appears that now the pathology is complete I have stage 4
Adenocarcinoma
of Cervix which 'very unusually' moved up to my womb and ovaries. I had my first session of Carbo/Taxol on Thurs now with added Avastin.

My Story
In 10/2010 I was diagnosed with stage 4 poorly differentiated
adenocarcinoma
of the lung. The dr told me I could expect 10-15 months with treatment. My parents both died of lung cancer within 5-6 months of their diagnosis so I figured 'hey, I'll live twice as long as they did'.

First post-op visit today
Well today I found out that there were two masses of NSCLC
Adenocarcinoma
I'm the lower lobe of the lung, and SCLC Carcinoma I'm one of my lymph nodes. My Thoracic surgeon does understand why the lymph nodes is showing SCLC.

ALK+ NSCLC
I was dx in September 2015 with stage IV
adenocarcinoma
. This blindsided us because I have never smoked but I have learned a lot in the last 11 months that all you need is lungs to get lung cancer. I was lucky that I am ALK positive which qualified me for an amazing trial.
