What to take to discontinue Prolia safely and for how long?
However, neither the endocrinologist nor the two GPs I've spoken to seem to know whether taking a low dosage of
Actonel
daily will mitigate against rebound fractures, nor for how long it should be taken.

Is anyone on risedronate (Actonel) experiencing bowel pain and gas?
I've been on risedronate 5mg daily for 3 months now in order to wean off Prolia injections. I'm having a huge amount of gas (flatulence) as well as lower bowel pain from time to time. I eat a very healthy Mediterranean diet with no junk food, but it feels as if my meals are not being digested. Having

Osteoporosis of the spine- but also good news!
If anyone can let me know if there's anything I should or should not do (aside from lambkicking) please feel free: don't know anything much except put on to Risedronate (
Actonel
).

Methotrexate + methylfolate= any problems?
Aspirin81,
Actonel
, various vitamins etc. I was taking folic acid until I discovered I have a homozygous C677T MTHFR mutation so now I have to take methylfolate instead. The problem is that my lips have started burning and my eyes are red and burning and blur when I try to read.

Also, recent research reported last year showed that
Actonel
was about twice as effective as Fosamax at preventing bone loss, so I'm wondering why so many people are still on Fosamax anyway?
