Hello everyone! hope you are all enjoying the new year
2020 has not started as planned, i have managed 1 run in January and ended with a foot injury. I am being told its plantar facitis (not by anyone medical!) however i don't agree that it is - but something is not right so i am resting it. BUT i am missing it so much, so thanks to cheekychipmunks for posting the 30 day yoga challenge...i have signed up
Pilates class start again next week too, so hopefully i can get stronger from the comfort of my home
Great to read how you are all doing with it. Namaste

Happy New Year. Sorry to hear about the foot issue, I hope it will sort itself out soon. With regards to the 30 day yoga, so many on here are following it and it’s really great, many are enjoying the journey, for some they’ve never done yoga, for others they have some yoga history it really doesn’t matter. Take your time, no rush and savour each session! It’ll be over before we know it. I just did Day 9!
Ohh, I hope your foot feels better soon. Some of the yoga positions can be quite tough on your foot joints/muscles etc. so be mindful to take care it doesn't aggravate your injury. There are a couple of people who specialise in 'hurt foot' exercise routines on YouTube. I can strongly recommend Caroline Jordan, who quite a few people on HU like, and another is Kim Saha who Bluebirdrunner is currently using while she is on the IC with a foot injury. May be worth you taking a look at these too if you're feeling impatient to do something, anything, to keep your fitness up. Good luck.
I hope your foot improves soon Alison. I'm having physio now for my plantar problem (caused by running too soon after my achillies had healed). So have specific exercises for my foot, ankle and glutes.
It's been too painful to walk on much, but the non-weight bearing yoga, Pilates videos have been good for keeping me moving as an addition to the physio.
