I'm just about to start the C25K - are the podcasts available for android smartphones?

They're available as mp3s from here: nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/Strength...

I download them to my ipod, but since they're mp3s, they should be compatible with any phone. I don't think any of these podcasts have apps specifically for smartphones, though. Hope that helps!
