I am not sure what you are asking. Keep him warm if possible. Have all your questions ready written at hand when you see the consultant, include what your 4 year old says.

Yep, keeping warm is the way to go.

To save time and to get the best out of the consultation

a) Ask your 4 year old, each day, what hurts, where, when, how does it feel, what does it stop him doing etc

....... and record all his answers

b) Make a typed summary of these . to give to the consultant as 4 year olds will probably not take well to be questioned by a strange person, in a strange environment

Best of luck

All the above advice are spot on. Monitor and record everything you're told by your little one so you can inform the doctor. Doesn't matter how small you may think your observations, they are all important for your doctor to know. In the meantime keep baby warm and comfortable and reassured. It's must be hard to see one so small with this condition. Bad enough to live with as an adult much less a small child. I'm sure you give lots of hugs, kisses and love to help lessen the distress. Get some nice soft fluffy socks and gloves and a cap/hat when out of doors.

My nan would also recommend lovely chicken soups. It's her "cure all" and its nice and comforting in these cold spells. All the best for your little one's speedy recovery.

Again excellent advice, at 4 years old - they can identify certain things and also - never think - ahh this is trivial - IT IS NOT. As all of it HURTS. Or at the minimum could lead to it finally hurting 'more'.

Sometimes certain clothes make you colder .Use cotton socks just normal ones but knee lenth and a short pair underneth .I keep warm by running about even if i am 60 .

Hot water bottles .Layers rather then thick for a boy vest shirt jumper ( long sleves )

knee lenths socks leather shoes good coat hat gloves .I find thick stuff no good but find cotton vest .Something long sleved on top with a jumper .Good shoes slightley loose ( tight makes me cold ) When shopping pick up something if it feels cold after you have had it your hand for few moments then don,t buy .If it feels warm buy .

may i ask what investigations they are doing? my 3 yr old was diagnosed 2 weeks ago but basically dismissed by the paediatric registraar as "oh its just raynauds" . She cannot walk its so severe in her feet and is not that co-operative with layers at 3. Its only her feet though.

I hope your little one gets some answers soon. Oh and we've found Gortex insulated boots a godsend
