I suffer from Fibromyalgia,Rheumatoid Arthritus,Lupus & more recently Raynauds.I had a Iloprost Infusion but it hasent helped much.My Fingers and toes are mostly affected and I feel as if I could take my finger nails of as I get a really burning sensation ! Is this a symptom of Raynauds ? Help!!!.

RAYNAUDS PRESENTS DIFFERENTLY FOR EVERYONE. MAINLY FOR ME STARTED OUT AS TINGLING, NUMBNESS, COLDESS AND BLUEISH COLOR ON YOUR FINGERS. THEN PAIN AND SWELLING, THEN CONTRACTURES, ALSO SCLERADERMA PROMOTES LATER ON. RAYNAUDS CAN BEGIN A NUMBER OF YEARS BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY SEE ANY SYMPTOMS.

Thanks Marcy .it seems my symptoms started the same as yours .Are contractures like blisters on the finger tips as this is what my finger tips look like.I dident realize that it would eventually go onto Scleraderma ? Trying not to look to far ahead,although I would rather know what symptoms to look out for.

Thanks Zenabb. I did see my Reumatologist last week,as I am going away to warmer climes for a few months ,he said it would be interesting to see what happens while I am away.My finger tips look like I have blisters on the end,could they be the beginning of ulcers ?
